If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
My husband and I had a perfect weekend in our Tentsile Connect at Hemlock Campsite. We accidentally surprised Tracy and her husband because we booked it so close to our arrival, but they took our arrival in stride and set us up with a fire ring, shovels an extinguisher and toilet option. The property is gorgeous and there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring. Very little mosquitoes/bugs (we only used bug spray once). Highly recommend this campsite and hosts!! We will be coming back!
We had a fantastic time here! Tracy and Dan were super welcoming and hospitable hosts. They greeted us warmly and gave us a good overview of the farm, our site and the trails on premises to explore. The site was private and well kept. This was a perfect Olympic Peninsula getaway for us. We will be back for sure!
My husband and I stayed for one night at the Hemlock site. Came in expecting a standard camping experience and got much more! Greeted by friendly hosts upon arrival and escorted to the campsite. Checked out the camping box on the table with some info about the area and the farm. There was some instant coffee, firestarters, a candle, and a log book. Also some wine bottles with LED lighting and roasting sticks and Adirondack chairs were a nice touch. The large campsite accomodated our 6-person tent with plenty of room to walk around. Was happy to discover the hammocks and games in the picnic area, like corn hole, frisbee and bocce ball. We explored the trails and are excited to see what the future improvements are like.
There was another couple camping at the Trillium site and the sites are so far apart that you can't even tell there is anyone else there unless you happen to walk the trail that passes by.
We were told there would be some starter wood at the site and were happy to find plenty for the one night we were there.
Woke up around 4am to many many birds chirping and happily welcoming the daylight, and of course roosters too!
We will definitely be back soon!
Hemlock is in a large, open area among an abundance of ferns, Oregon grape, maples, alder, and evergreens. The site is well shaded, cool, and inviting. Tracy and Dan's preparations were impeccable from the furnishings to the firewood--absolutely stellar hosts. Rather than compete for crowded sites in public campgrounds, I recommend their farm as a destination or as a great jumping-off point for exploring south Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula.
Lovely and relaxing !
I would stay here again and again. It was so lovely !! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a Hemlock site, it was so private and quiet. The sites are so well kept. The grounds were so nice ! There are walking trails, hammocks hanging and ready to relax in, lawn games to play. We were very impressed, surpassed our expectations !
The hemlock campsite and the trails were tons of fun. Tracy was great and accommodating. We even got to feed the goats and get fresh eggs. Everything was cozy and the preinstalled rain tarp was great. My only wish was a picnic table in the campground instead of the game area.
Great time getting together with family 👪 members. The site was really nice with an activity area not far from the campsite. Nice job putting that together. I would recommend this to anyone.
The property was a great escape from fast paced city life. The open area was great for playing games (ladder golf, corn hole, frisbee, and others). The cites are far enough apart that guests aren’t aware of one another. The Trillium site in my opinion is the most private. The sites are thoughtfully put together making setup easy. I will stay again.
