We had a fantastic stay at Malaney Creek Farm. Tracy & Dan were very hospitable, and the farm was beautiful and had wonderful, private hiking trails and friendly rescue horses. We also visited nearby Shelton and ate some amazing BBQ at Smoking Mo's on Tracy & Dan's recommendation. There is also the Lake Spencer Resort about 4 miles away where you can drink some micro brews and take a dip in the lake. The camp site itself would be good for a family or people who are still a bit unsure about remote camping. It featured a couple of hammocks to hang out in, a pretty swank corn hole set-up and a convenient porta-loo. It also had a bit of a romantic feel to it with fairy lights in the trees and bottles with lights in them on the table. We would definitely stay again, although based on our preferences in one of the other, more "foresty" sites.
Perfect campsite. Nice base camp location for the Shelton Oyster Fest. Quiet and private. Excellent Communication. Our Host Stacy, was waiting for us at the entrance when we arrived and guided us to our campsite. Thx again Tracy
