We had an awesome stay at this Coastal Hideout. The spot has just about everything you could possibly need. It is especially the perfect haven if you are interested in water sports. (Surfing, Paddle Boarding). They have boards to rent on site, as well as a washing station and drying room for your wetsuits. YES, A DRYING ROOM. You can purchase wood and rent a Traeger BBQ on site. On Saturday nights they have live music, and it was mentioned that they were going to be playing movies there as well. A brewery (10 Barrel) and a small cafe are going in on the site in the next couple of months. There are tons of local spots to grab some brews and fresh seafood. These are some of our favorite spots that were recommended to us by the host on site: Brady's Oysters, Half Moon Bay, West Haven Park. I would give a heads up that if you are staying at a site that mentions that you can have 4 people, that means a tent that can fit four people, not two separate tents. It is also close quarters and you will be staying right next to other campers, this is not a remote location. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. On site, they also have RV hookups, a hostel, a motel and tons of campsites. Once you arrive, you might never want to leave :) We look forward to our next visit!

We stayed here for one night only to break up our long trip up north to Port Angeles. We booked at 9pm on HipCamp and when we arrived at 1am, they didn't have our reservation for camping and we weren't sure where to go. The guy speaking to us on the intercom was very night and let us stay the night - asking that we check in the office in the morning. They ended up finding our reservation - no harm no foul. This property is clean and very hip, the bathrooms were nice and bright and the shower was hot. Don't expect a real camping environment, but more of a place to put your tent. We appreciated the fact that our tent spot was covered! How cool in the rain to not have to stay inside your tent or deal with putting up tarps, canopy, etc. The sandbox area where you are to put your tent (everything surrounding is gravel), is very hard. We didn't inflate our air mattress due to the late hour and close proximity of our neighbors but we expected the sand to provide some cushion. It's packed very hard and we both woke up with sore hips. We would stay here again if we needed a place to crash on the way up north, but it's not the type of camping we typically seek out.

This place is ADORABLE! We were on our way up to Olympic National Park (on a month long roadtrip) and needed a place to hang out for a day and catch up on some work while on the road - but were kinda over the RV Parks with giant motorhomes and screaming kids. This place looked more our speed, so we actually chose to stay in Westport because "Your Coastal Hideout" looked like a chill space in nature to set up our "office". :-) It did not disappoint. Everything was so clean and fresh feeling while still surrounded by giant trees and nature - and only a few minutes drive to the ocean. I loved how they've set up the camping space to encourage community - with community bonfire area, shared outdoor kitchen area and even an indoor space with a real kitchen and giant beautiful long dining table and livingroom. Their excellent wifi speed was a great bonus. I kept thinking how cool it would be to have a big group of your friends here. And how the space lends itself to be an excellent mini-festival space with the big stage and modern conveniences. We also loved the cute little surrounding area. The beach was lovely - we saw a whale just off shore slapping his tale and the beach was filled cool sun-bleached driftwood and tons of sand dollars! We intended to stop in a local brewery, but ran short on time. I highly recommend a visit!

Coastal Hideout is a unique and fun camping destination! We stayed in one of the covered sites and the sand made for a comfortable and deep night of sleep. We got a s'mores kit which was great, and the hot shower was perfect. The set up at each site is great with water, tables, lighting, and electricity right there - so convenient. The team running the camp is super helpful and kind, Boddy is a legend!!

This is a very community orientated spot, not the right fit if you're looking for somewhere remote in nature or private, but perfect if you want to meet other cool outdoors people and stay somewhere close to beautiful ocean and great surf. On Fridays they do movie night, Saturdays live music, and yoga on Sunday and Saturday! We loved our stay.

Great spot to camp after surf- hot showers, outdoor kitchen, covered tent sites. Location is just not ideal for a get-away. You are surrounded by homes and private property with no access to the water. But a few mins drive north and you hit the beach. It's stunning. And we loved wandering around town.
The community room seemed awesome, so might be a good choice for a group of travelers.

This place was so perfect. With the winter rain we really needed a campground that was covered and had a little more shelter. On top of that, the ladies in the front office/cafe were so helpful and nice. We're trying to plan a trip when the weather is a bit warmer to enjoy the atmosphere!
