Pitch your tent in our grassy area within a 100 feet of the lake all while listening to the majestic sound of the creek . Enjoy the wild ducks, deer, otters . Lake Sutherland is a warm lake take a dip and cool off or rent our kayaks and paddle around and enjoy the scenery. This is a tiny piece of heaven we have decided to share . At this time there is only room for one tent and one car ( 2 tents might be granted , case by case ) . The short Lake trail also has a few steep spots and that we are working on , don't want you to have any surprises. Santi can is also at the top of trail . The trail is rather short just sloped . We would rather you know all the quirks and you be pleasantly surprised by this little majestic piece of heaven . There is a shallow sandy area in the water great for children , no dock but room for your kayaks ( if booked ahead of time ours can be rented as well ) or paddle boards, floaties etc. Lots on the lake are small so neighbors are close. Our neighbors are a vrbo and we have met so many wonderful people from all over the world, so you can either stay to yourself or have a neighborly conversation but either way everyone is in Holiday mode and ready to relax. Book us now and Enjoy The Lake Life !!

This camping spot was gorgeous - right on the water, a fire pit, and a break in the trees all made for a lovely experience. I would highly recommend for those who are exploring the Olympic Peninsula or are in pursuit of some beautiful waterside camping.
The location was lovely although it was a bit tight located between a house and the host's cabin. The main issue was the host was doing home improvements with power tools on the cabin which was very close to our "site" until 10:30 pm. Our site was basically her yard. The second day of our stay, she invited a large group of relatives over (7 teenagers). They hung a hammock right in front of our access to the lake and parked in our designated parking spot. Clearly, the site should not have been rented when the host was having a large party.
This site was everything we wanted and more! Johnna was a very welcoming host and gave us great tips about the site and activities in the area. The site was much larger than we expected as well and had a lovely fire pit with chairs and benches. We had time to go for a brief dip in the lake at sunset, such a fun and relaxing time! Definitely would visit again and recommend to others :)
