For the price this is a no brainer. It’s a great little spot close to the river. The only complaint we have is the lack of privacy. Unfortunately the people next to the site cut down a lot of the trees and it leaves you exposed to their home. We would still stay here again though.

Hayes couldn't have been more helpful when it came to a WiFi issue on site (someone working on the property with a backhoe snapped a cable) and being present when the cable company was on site to fix the issue. Thank you so much Hayes and family!

This is an adorable little site just big enough for our new camper! Patti is super helpful and sweet, the directions she sends ahead of time are perfect, and we found the extra stuff she provided as to-dos or where-tos was so helpful! The property is well kept and right by the river. We’ll be back!

Patti was so great! This is the cutest little spot that's literally feet from the river (and the crossing Elk!!). The directions and information Patti provided were so useful and accurate! We'll definitely be back in the future!

Nice quiet spot near river, 1 trailer between you and river. Good base camp for exploring Mt. Ranier and area. Site was narrow but wide enough for hookup, trailer and good firepit area. There is a house next door that is almost fully visible from site so not super private. If you plan to hang a lot at the campsite, it might not be the best place but much quieter than State campground. Neighbors were nice, quiet so not really an issue.

We had a nice time. It was a little close to the neighbors, but everyone was very friendly. The little walk to the water was nice. You can hear the water from the site. Very clear directions on how to get there and hooked up. Also, it's a nice 20 minute bike ride to town.

We used it like a base camp like the description said. It was tricky to back up in the dark and the site is not level. The site itself is pretty small. Water and electric hook ups were great. Didn't use the wifi. Close to the river, but couldn't find an easy way down to it so we didnt go. People in neighborhood are super friendly. Beautiful area. Very close to Mt. Rainier and hiking/scenery. Overall our stay was good.

We had a great long weekend here! The site is amazingly close to the river, with relatively easy access. It was very quiet and peaceful. The surrounding neighborhood was perfect to walk the dogs in the evenings. Our only complaint, and it is small, was that the site was really dusty. It would be awesome if some gravel was laid down to cut down on the dust and to help with leveling out the area. That being said, we are already talking about our next trip. Thank you so much for sharing your property with us!

The dogs loved playing in the river!Packwood Lake HikeThis is a great family friendly hike! Our dogs were exhausted from having so much fun!

The site is fantastic. You have the lot to yourself, it's a short walk to access the Cowlitz river, and we were often the only ones at the river. Having the firewood included was a nice perk. The WiFi signal was strong, and the internet was faster than expected considering how remote Packwood is. Only disappointment was the neighbor cut down a lot of trees, so it feels close to their house. Patti was great and quick to respond to anything you need. We'd definitely stay there again.
