The place was great. Well kept yard with a pretty house, garage and we'll designed 2 floor side building. Hens kept things entertaining as well and the WiFi was great to work from the table in the yard.
Our camper van fit perfectly next to the host’s house facing his beautiful large backyard surrounded with trees. The hammock, fire pit, and chicken coop made it more charming than any campground. It is conveniently located close to the Seattle ferry. The roster Is hysterical prancing around, and started crowing early, of course, but we were able to sleep through it. We were grateful to find this cozy location.
Beautiful place 1 hr away from Seattle. Chickens will wake you up at sunrise so make sure you fall asleep earlier but it’s such a clean nice place. I will go again if I have to!
Kyle and his girlfriend were awesome! They have a beautiful backyard and plenty of space to camp at. Reasonably priced, but no outdoor bathroom (only inside).. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a weekend getaway outside of the city. He has roosters, geese, chickens, and two adorable dogs!
We enjoyed staying here at Rooster Camp! The host kept to themselves and let us do our own thing. The view was beautiful as well. The chickens were cute, but leave the rooster alone, he'll chase you lol.
I had a great time and can’t wait to come back! There was so much space, and it’s more idyllic than the photos let on. Cafe lights strung outside, a hammock, lounge chairs, and a big fire pit with plenty of firewood were all perks! Kyle and his gf were so hospitable! They set up an extension cord so I could charge my phone, too. The rooster and chickens were so much fun to watch! I got plenty of pictures of Gunner, (definitely the dominant rooster) and his little friends. The roosters will crow early, but it’s all part of the experience. I will definitely be back again!
Really awesome place to stay at. Stretch of land is very comfortable for a tent and the host is super sick!
A great place to stay with a friendly dog, chickens and a couple geese. About 3/4 acre of grass, a firepit (a much nicer one is almost done). Our grandchildren had a great time running around with the animals. Kyle the owner was helpful and flexible during our 12 day stay. On a clear night there is little light pollution so stars are very visible. There is a 30 amp rv electrical outlet also. A great base camp to explore the Kitsap peninsula. One slight negative is some road noise from a local highway but there is no other noise aside from the rooster.
