Little Moon Bell is a 16', round canvas tent bedecked in warmth and comfort. A plush king-sized bed stacked with quilts awaits you! Our campsite is a dreamy little getaway under towering conifers and twinkling stars. Several chairs and a platform swing encircle the firepit where you are most welcome to make a small campfire. For chillier, rainier days, there is a cylinder woodstove in which to burn a cozy fire (waiver required for use of the woodstove in tent). We are not entirely remote, but have a home and a peaceful designated camping area located on a couple acres of field, forest, and flowers. We are one among many other large farm lots and acreage, a mile and a half from Battle Ground Lake State Park. Little Moon Bell is a perfect respite after a long day of exploring all that Clark County has to offer, or a peaceful retreat unto itself.
A few of our favorite things: Battle Ground Lake is a small, forested lake wonderful for hiking, fishing, swimming, and paddling. Lewisville Regional Park is also nearby (approximately a 15 minute drive), which is an incredibly beautiful place. The photogenic bridge and brisk water at Moulton Falls Regional Park is less than 15 minutes away. We are 10 minutes out of the closest town where you'll find a skatepark, vintage/antique stores, markets, and a really good taco truck in addition to some other great restaurants. Berry picking, water falls, farms, vineyards, biking and many other attractions also are within 20 minutes drive. If you want to get into a bigger city, Portland is about 45 minutes away.

We snuck away for our anniversary for a weekend at Little Moon Bell. It was exactly what we were looking for. The tent was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the decorative touches were perfect. Close to Battle Ground Lake, Moulton and Lucia Falls, and local wineries. We would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely getaway.
I am a more recent single parent and was gonna go glamping alone to spend time near the Columbia Gorge area.... opted to bring my girls because why not share the experience. We booked the site instantly on short notice and started to head down from Seattle using Battle Ground Wa and this hipcamp as our stop point for the night ... long story short 5South closed due to a terrible accident we were sitting for hours. When we got to camp it was beautifully lit. The fire wood which I had asked for after booking because again we were behind, was not only available but they warmed the camp for me and my girls. We had a short warm beautiful stay. They even refunded a portion of my stay here aide I was not there long. My girls felt like they were fairy princesses in the lit yurt. They loved the bathroom area as did I ... I would say it’s a great spot for adults or adults with kids that understand yurt and camp safety
I can’t thank them enough for their flexibility their kindness and honestly the warmest most cozy beautiful HipCamp I have done to date

This was the most wonderful stay! We had such an amazing time at Little Moon Bell and it’s just as dreamy as it looks in the photos! Chelsea and Brent were the loveliest hosts and made sure we were taken care of from the start. They even shared some delicious homemade soup! We enjoyed making a fire outside and swinging under the stars all night. The space is perfect for a romantic weekend, and the tent is absolutely darling! Not to mention so comfy! We had all the amenities we needed and the entire set-up was so thoughtful, they provided us some marshmallows and wood to burn as well!
Everything was very clean and we never ran out of the essentials during our stay. The wood burning stove in the tent made for a cozy night and there were little twinkle lights around the camp to create the most beautiful ambience. The setting made for a peaceful and unique experience where you can really unwind and take it all in - we are already planning our next trip back!
