About Peshastin Valley Joe Farm
Our little site is right off of Hwy 97 and 3 miles from Hwy 2. We are 7.8 miles away from downtown Leavenworth and 19 miles from Wenatchee. Please note that sites are about 200ft or 300ft from the highway depending on the spot, so some traffic noise does make its way through the trees. We hope this won't deter you because it's a beautiful, peaceful valley offering great access to so much outdoor fun. We are a professional musician family; A marriage between one homegrown Leavenworth native and a Hafu third culture child. We look forward to offering you and your party many recommendations for recreation and entertainment while you stay with us!

The vibe at Peshastin Valley Joe Farm
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
East of the Cascade mountain range in Northern Washington sits a small Bavarian themed town named Leavenworth. The area is host to rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and my personal favorite - backpacking. Joe Farm lays just 10 minutes outside of town, just off the main road heading North. The space has two separate areas to set up camp, an upper lawn near the house, should you need easier access to amenities, and a lower (unused) horse arena. I chose to stay in the arena as it is a little more secluded and has a lot of space to set up in. The arena has been filled with soft gravel and is nice and flat - a perfect place to set up a tent. One concern was that the highway (97) is fairly close to the arena, so was unsure how quiet it would be. I found that after the sun set the traffic died down quite a bit. I fell asleep quickly at around 10pm, and when I happened to wake up around 2am, it was dead quiet. There are trees around the arena, but none directly above it, which meant I could go to sleep staring up at the night stars - no light pollution out here. When I was there Lindee was the only host home, but she was incredibly welcoming and friendly. There is access to a bathroom and shower, which was super helpful as I was in the area for a wedding and needed shower access that morning. There are some hills surrounding the property, which I took advantage of early one morning, walking up a deer trail to a ridge above the property, giving a beautiful view of the valley.
Overall, I had a great experience with both the camp space and the host. If you are a looking for a place all to yourself near Leavenworth, this is a great option.
This was a good option for crashing before a thru hiking the enchantments as it's about 20 minutes to the snow lake trailhead.
As mentioned in the listing it is pretty close to the highway so there is some road noise. Also without very easy bathroom options, I wouldn't have wanted to do much more than just crash at this spot, but it worked well for that. And the host is so friendly and responsive!
This is a great place to stay! We stayed in the old horse coral which has tons of space. Lindee, Sergio and their kids are fantastic hosts! They had a canopy set up for us when we arrived so that we could stay out of the sun. It is a great alternative to staying at a cramped campground. The property and surrounding landscape is beautiful. We will be back!
Lindee and her family were incredibly hospitable. Their yard was grassy, flat and perfect for camping. They live on a nice quiet road with a beautiful view of mountains and natural landscape. They gave us great ideas for where to eat and drink in Leavenworth, WA, plus they are musicians so they had the best recommendations on where to listen to live music while we were there! I'd recommend camping here to both families and individuals! Thank you Cuevas family!!
