Farmstay - Good Medicine Tipi
JMG is glamping at it’s finest! Beautiful, serene, & private, it was the perfect escape for Labor Day weekend. Highly recommend renting the entire property for your family/friends to share. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and fun for the whole family! We’ll be back!

Farmstay - Good Medicine Tipi
Absolutely stunning location!
This was our first “glamping” experience and we absolutely loved it. First of all, the view from the property is absolutely breathtaking. An amazing vista of Mount Hood. The property itself is so cool. We loved staying in the tipis which were way more comfortable than we anticipated. It got SUPER windy at night (really, the early hours of the morning), and we all marveled at how sturdy and secure the tipis were. The communal area is lovely and completely outfitted. A hot shower when camping? AMAZING. A complete kitchen setup including fridge, freezer, grill, and gas cooktop. We really enjoyed the gas fire pit at night to hang around and keep the chill at bay. Talia is an amazing host and made sure we were totally taken care of, even checking in to make sure everything was ok upon our arrival. Thanks so much, Talia! This was a great location to be close to the kite boarding in Hood River. We have already recommended it to multiple friends. The only tips: the road to the property gets very rugged in spots. Also, if you’re sensitive to cold, you may want to bring an appropriate sleeping bag - the guys were completely fine, but the women in our group are wimps with cold. We brought our bags (15F, 650FP - we’re serious wimps) with us and were totally comfortable with them. At elevation in the Northwest, it can be 90F in the day and freezing at night. Thanks again, Talia. We can’t wait to visit again!

Good Medicine Tipi
We stayed in the Good Medicine tipi. It was furnished with a comfortable bed and there were books and games provided for entertainment. The setting felt private, as the tipi was completely surrounded with trees. There were two outdoor chairs, a hammock, and air chair available for outside lounging. The shared kitchen space and shower area were clean and charming. There’s also a cottage and another tipi on the property, so there’s a possibility that there will be other folks using the kitchen and shower space while you’re there. I appreciated that the host provided separate port-a-potties for each tipi, as well as separate dish sponges and dish towels in the kitchen. Our stay was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend staying here if you’re craving a little glamping getaway!
