TENT CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!! PLEASE COME BACK IN 2021...

Come enjoy our space, connect with nature 🌿 and regain your appreciation for the things you have in your life. My family and I built this glamping site in our back woods area during the quarantine of 2020.

It provided our family of 6 a wonderful getaway!   Everything you need to be comfortable is available in the tent (Comfortable full sized bed with sheets and warm bedding, 4 pillows, cot bunk beds which are great for kids up to age 10).  Not to mention a beautiful, clean outhouse complete with portable flushing toilet, sink, and mirror.

Plenty of peacefulness and privacy available ❤️

1.5 acres of back woods allows for fun outdoor games and woodlands exploration.  It is a short walk from the parking area.  Wagon available. There is also a huge sunny spot nearby to pull up a chair and enjoy your morning coffee.

A true highlight of our space is the treehouse, which is open and available to campers of all ages :)

The property is located in heart of Whatcom County. Enjoy nearby swimming, fishing, coastal beaches (Birch Bay/Semiahmoo), hiking, and excellent biking (road and mountain). 20 minute drive to Bellingham, 10 minutes to the Canadian border. It's quiet here at night with excellent opportunity for stargazing.

As soon as we were driving away from the campsite, the whole family agreed we were already missing it. My kids were so in love with the treehouse! My son asked multiple times if he could stay there FOREVER. We had to work really hard to persuade them to leave the campsite to do other activities. We managed to venture out to Birch Bay, Larabee Park, and to the city of Lynden to get some fresh sweet corn from one of the farms. There is a great walking trail in the forest behind the tent. Lots of areas to explore and opportunities for imaginative play. We found a broken tree trunk that looks like the castle from Frozen! The kids rode their bike and scooter in the open feilds, played catch, soccer, and just ran freely like wild children. The tent was amazing! Very clean. Some kiddo books and games were provided. The bedding and a few layers of clothing kept us warm at night. It even rained for a few hours one night, but we stayed dry and comfortable. My son was a big fan of the cot bunkbeds. My husband was very appreciative of having a toilet! We used both the charcoal grill and wood stove to cook. The stove was great for making oatmeal and pancakes! We picked fresh blueberries in the morning at their neighbor's berry farm to top our pancakes with. Delicious! There is also a market, drive through coffee, and restaurants a short drive away if grilling is not your thing. Sarah, Jake, and their family were wonderful. Very welcoming. They offered recommendations of things to do and places to eat (via text). It was a magical stay filled with a mixture of sounds of the wind blowing through the ruseling leaves, crickets chirping, chickens, the train whistle in the distance, and of course peace and quiet. We have already booked another stay at Farm Forest Glamping!
