Bainbridge Island is the nexus of the PNW. Easy access to all the natural beauty of the Olympic National Forest while only a 5 minute drive to the Ferry which is only a 30 minute crossing into the heart of downtown Seattle.  The shabbin is nestled away in clearing in the middle of woods and is made of cedar wood milled from the land it sits on.

Island Jungalow
This is a great place to stay on Bainbridge. Cute and simple, it was just what we were looking for. And only 5 minutes from the ferry (although you feel like you're miles from civilization).

I had a great stay! Jenny and Hunter we’re great hosts. They had recently installed a heater in the cabin just in time for the freezing temperatures. Unfortunately Bainbridge has a 24 hour power outage the night I got there but they kept me stocked with firewood and even let me hang out with them around their campfire that evening to warm up.

Island Jungalow
The Island Jungalow was part of a lovely little weekend adventure on Bainbridge Island for my husband and I! Jenny and family were gracious hosts and made sure that we had all we needed for our stay. The cabin now has a heater to keep things toasty during a chilly night (we visited in February and awoke to snow flurries). We had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog; we were thrilled to be able to have her along and allowed to romp around. The location is central to hiking in the Grand Forest, beach access a few minutes away - as well as wineries if you want to expand your glamping adventure further. We'd highly recommend a stay here - especially on a cold and rainy weekend - no drying out of a tent required. :D

Island Jungalow
This was such a cozy romantic place to stay on Bainbridge! I would highly recommend this place to any adventurous couple looking for a getaway in this area. When my husband and I arrived we were greeted by Jenny's family including their dog and cat. The Jungalow is nestled into some trees behind the main house, and it was an adorable little cabin! Even though this cabin is off-the-grid they made it very cozy with candles, pillows and a shepskin pelt. The cabin was also equipped with an easel, art supplies, and a small coffee table. We brought camp mats to sleep on along with our 15-degree down sleeping bags because it was a cold evening in February. We recommend bringing something to grill on the fire pit for dinner or exploring the local restaurants on Bainbridge Island. Jenny gave us lots of suggestions on where to eat and what to see while we were there. There is room for two cots or an air mattress. I would suggest bringing one of those little buddy propane heaters if you come in the winter, as it does get chilly at night. This place would be great in the Spring or Fall! I imagine it could get a little hot in the summer, but if you bought a battery powered fan it would probably be perfect. What a great find!!! We would definitely recommend this place!
