There is a pellet gun, crossbow, and archery range. Bring your mountain bike, dirt bike, and/or your horses for exploring along the numerous canal roads and trails., or on the semi-groomed motocross track. Very little light pollution makes good star gazing, we have binoculars, and a telescope you can use. Without a fire, it just isn't camping, so yes, you can have fires (unless burn ban in affect). Fire wood bundles available on-site, or pre-order, and the fire will be ready to lite. Great fishing, boating, kayaking, or swimming is minutes away, at either the Snake, or Columbia Rivers. . There are several nearby Wineries, Juniper Sand Dunes (hiking, dirt bikes, ATV's), the Tri-Cities (20 miles South) hosts the annual Unlimited Hydroplane Races on the last weekend of July, minor league baseball is in Pasco, there are all kinds of Art and Cultural outings to enjoy. There is a electrical cord available for phone charging, radio, computer etc. and there is additional water if needed.

Philip (host) and Watson (dog) we're friendly, followed COVID-19 hipcamp practices, and we had a great evening watching the sun go down. There is a more set-up sight and then the option to drive into the meadow, and down by the stream. Trees by the stream could provide more privacy if you want it. Great stop on our way, and a good choice during these times, and after.

Last minute, unexpected. Needed a safe place to pitch a tent and sleep. Late in and early out worked

If frank zapa and ralph stedman camped out this would be their favorite place.
It's hard to put into words what a delight this experience was. If you've done a LOT of mind altering drugs through the years you will recogonize this place! What at first seems like random items strewn about become set art upon closer inspection. While i didnt book this site i did enjoy every minute of my stay and requested that i be the one to write the review.
Some parting notes: watson the dog is very attentive (and friendly) make sure you have your food secured or he will secure it in his belly. We did see two owels that reside in the hobbit forrest. And as promised there were owl pellets to be had (difficult to cook to a level that pleased all the folks in our party)
In a nutshell a FIVE STAR RESORT EXPERIENCE for the cost of a single night at some shitty KOA.

The site has no signage so follow the directions in the hipcamp listing. Phillip was very responsive and helped us find his place and let us know where to park. We stayed near a RV (I think it was permanent) and among a few other vehicles. It’s far from the house and feels private. There is a hole in the ground for doing your business and no running water. There is a fire pit and plenty of chairs. We absolutely love the view and surrounding area. The sunset was the best we’ve ever seen. The site was great for kids. Not great for most women. Would stay again, just to crash and leave first thing in the am.

Really enjoyed staying here and the $5 fire ready to go was well worth it when I pulled in late at night. The spot is in a meadow near the house, but moderately private as its shieled behind an RV and a tool shed. There's a quiet drone of distant roads and machinery, but very peaceful with beautiful stars and not far off the main freeways. This was a great spot to spend a night, with a table and chairs and an outdoor potty seat above a hole in ground! Directions could use some specificity for anyone arriving in the dark, but overall this was worth the money and I'll stay again if I pass through.

Phil was super kind and accommodating. This is a great location close to hiking and other activities in the Tri Cities area. We specifically enjoyed hiking in the White Bluffs area, which is really close to the campsite. This location would be great for a couple or a small group of friends. This area can be flat, which makes it difficult to find privacy, but part of this property is located in a "draw" where small hills and trees/shrubs provide screening.

Beautiful spot! There was a dog roaming the property (not sure if it was the owner’s dog) - just something to note.
