This property was a long time dream come true for the owner who always wanted to have her horse right outside her doorstep. When she first purchased the land the plant life was taking over but she saw great potential in the landscape. The goal is to progressively add in a trail course onto the property so that guests can enjoy a fun trail horse or bike ride as well as hiking experience during their stay.

We had some vehicle trouble and Story came to our rescue! Story is gracious, patient, and understanding - we are very grateful for such a wonderful host.

Landing Pad
Beautiful but needs work
Our hostess was great! The spot was private and did not have light pollution. I wish it was a bit larger with table, truck and tent there wasn't much room. I also wish there was a bit less shrubbery to view the river better. The road was in poor shape, very bumpy due to trucks going to the orchards. The road it narrow in places with a steep drop on one side and branches on the other. Our truck got scraped a few times. These should be kept trimmed back. Overall it was a great spot it just needs a little maintenance to make it better.

Landing Pad
Directions and communication with the host were easy and helpful and the site is what we expected- a flat pad of gravel for parking, a picnic table, and space for a decent sized tent. Great view of the river below, mountains ahead, and stars above!

Homestead with a View
Absolutely lovely
We absolutely loved our time here. The view was spectacular. One of the finest sunsets we’ve seen. Super fun having goats for neighbors. The place is roughly 20-30 minutes up a literal rocky road. This was a fun adventure being secluded surrounded by natural beauty, but also being close enough to spend the day at the lake and go to restaurants downtown. We would recommend bringing your own light source in addition to your normal head lamp. Story had a few battery operated touch lights, but it gets pretty dark up there and even with our additional string lights, we wished we had a little more to illuminate the space for possible games or nighttime activity. I should also say Story made staying here super easy with flexible check in/out. We got in later on Friday night and Story let us leave late on Sunday so we could get another beach day in. Again, THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE and we would 100% stay again.

Landing Pad
10/10 Spot
This Landing Pad was an incredible night in the mountains. The views were unbelievable and the host was kind. The description matches the camp. I would love to return to this place, but I would recommend having a strong suspension on your car because the drive up the mountain was incredibly bumpy - but worth it. I drive a Scion XB so just know that any car can make it.
