COVID-19 Changes - we have closed our second site, so only one group can camp at a time to allow appropriate social distancing at all times. Your group would be the only ones in the camping area. There is a porta-toilet that will only be accessed by your group. We ask that only people living together book, this allows us to follow the current regulations and prevents us from having our business jeopardized. Campers are responsible for bringing their own hand washing soap or sanitizer. At check in, we will stay appropriately distances and wear masks in the event that we need to be closer than 10 ft, or if guests prefer we can wear masks the entire time. We are only accepting reservations from one group per week to allow the toilet to be cleaned between groups. Any questions, or if you want to book on days other than Friday through Monday please contact us.

Private tent camping in the woods on our homestead! Take a walk from the campsite to enjoy acres of conservation land just adjacent to the sites and Diobsud Creek! The land was just put in conservation last year, so now visitors don’t have to use the private gravel road and can just head straight across the conservation area to the creek. The creek has swimming holes upstream if you are adventurous and want to explore. If not, it is a very easy walk to the creek where you can sit in the quiet and enjoy nature. We are in the Gateway to the North Cascades National Park, and are near tons of local State and County Parks. Perfect base camp to get to all the hikes, fishing, and exploring you could want to do!

Campsite has a fire ring, charcoal bbq, and picnic table for you to enjoy. Water spigot (except in winter months, water may not be available due to freezing), a dedicated portable toilet, and close parking with the campsite just a short walk in the woods away from your car. A cart is provided for you to transport your supplies from your car to the site. Limited Wifi service is available to campers, password is provided at check-in. The Wifi speed is not great, but it allows guests without cell service to check messages or make calls.

PLEASE NOTE - We recommend bringing a sleeping pad or some sort of blanket to put in the bottom of your tent. The area is newly cleared and there is still some small debris on the ground.

We are a working homestead with a large garden, including flowers. We welcome campers to enjoy the garden and are happy to provide a tour and answer any questions..

Optional add-on’s that can be purchased in advance by just letting us now via message after booking are:

  • Firewood bundles delivered to your site prior to your arrival for $5 per bundle. Kindling $3 per bundle.

Private, primitive feeling with awesome host and accommodation? Yes please! Our visit was perfect from start to finish. We arrived and noticed signs for parking and camping; and didn't even need instructions from Ariel, although we did get to meet her! She ensured us that it will be a private and quiet stay, and showed us the very clean outhouse and way to campsite. A 30 second walk from our own parking spot, and we were there. Grill, fire pit, picnic table and manicured space for our tent! The perfect getaway! PS. Ariel gave us many recommendations for nearby hot spots! We stopped for coffee at an espresso drive through hut in the cutest nearby town. Endless nearby activities and restaurants. 10/10.

This was our first time in North Cascades and we stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. It was a truly amazing experience and we cannot wait to come back. Be sure to purchase some fresh eggs from Ariel! Firewood is also for sale.

Ariel and Matt were so kind and really great Hosts. The homestead is located just off highway 20 in Marblemount off a private and well-maintained road and a short drive to the North Cascades National Park Visitor Center. The campsite itself is very private and tucked away in the woods. There's a picnic table, firepit, trash bin, and a BBQ grill. The toilet and potable water are next to the parking area. The town of Marblemount is just down the road and has everything you'll need for your getaway.

There's a beautiful creek just up the road (Bacon Creek) where we spent a day fishing and reading by the creek and didn't see a single person all day.

Highway 20 takes you through the whole park and is where you can find all kinds of hiking trails, vista points, and things to see and do for the whole family. Be sure to drive to Washington Pass to see some of the best views. If you are in the mood for some great ice cream and like small pioneer towns, Winthrop is a must stop.

I HIGHLY recommend Hall Homestead and will be telling everyone I know to come here if they want to experience the best of North Cascades. Thank you so much, Ariel and Matt, for making this a 4th of July that will never be forgotten.

Cooking up some grub after a long day of hiking.Washington Pass on Highway 20 is a must see as you venture out from Hall Homestead and explore the park. Diablo Lake overlook located on Highway 20 not too far from Hall Homestead!Bacon Creek is located 5 minutes up the road from the property. It's a US forest road but pretty well maintained!

Ariel and her family were super kind and accommodating! The site was exactly as described and after saying a quick hi, they left us to explore and do our thing, while still being approachable in case we needed anything.

Perks of the site included use of a port-a-potty (which was very well maintained), water spigot, and a BBQ grill + firepit. This was a great landing spot for adventuring in the North Cascades and exploring the cute town of Marblemount. If you come, be sure to check out Glacier Peak winery down the road for a tasting with Lisa & Lucy.

Highly recommend this spot for a small group looking to get away to the Cascades with privacy but still wanting some minimal amenities.

It was a good site! They carved out a nice spot in the foresty area adjacent to their house but it's still a decent distance away so it's private. Portopotty and water spout were convenient. I wasn't expecting much based on the price but it was better than expected! Very nice host as well!

The stay was incredible! Exactly as described and Ariel went above and beyond if you asked for any recommendations. Beautiful creek walking distance and the perfect base camp for driving into the North Cascades.

Site was private, clean, and easy to find. The ground is not the best for setting up tent (small bush roots/stubs all over), but is manageable. Would stay here again without a second thought.
