Our stay was very private and primitive. I would stay there again someday, but worried about ticks in the summer.

This site is so remote! I am a mom with a young teenage son and we did not feel comfortable at all. That being said, it is in a gorgeous part of the forest south of the Little Pend Orielle refuge. Scott, the host, is a great communicator and we are definitely going back when he is there to orient us. Anyone looking for a backwoods, primitive camping experience...check it out!

Pretty fun authentic camping experience. Made snores and burgers. Saw deer right on the property like 50 feet away. Also saw a cat which probably means it's not being eaten by dangerous animals. That's good

It was like staying in a junk yard. The advertised outhouse was missing a wall, plywood covering toilet and overgrown with weeds.
