The camping area site is a 60 year old orchard just off the Hood Canal next to Rendsland Creek. It is a seasonal creek that is typically dry from mid-June until the first good rain in September, when the Fall Chum Salmon run happens between Oct and Nov. There are young fruit trees planted in the field so please be careful of them. You may camp anywhere in the field or the alder copses to the North and South between the Creek and the Road and within the surrounding the Orchard. Most people put their tents in the shade of the Alder and fir trees next to the creek bed. Please be respectful of neighboring property across the creek, and recognize there is wetland right near the area so if it has been raining the field could be muddy, though it is generally very suitable for driving on from May - mid September. The massive trees that you see while driving up the road and walking up the creek are 200+ year old Cotton wood trees. The property is also a farm with a large family, children, and animals, which do animal things. Please use the contact information to make contact the within 24 hours of arrival so we can confirm the gate code. If you would like a farm tour or to meet the animals you can also use the contact information. There is paid boat ramp access to the Hood Canal at the Summer Tide Resort & Marina about 4 miles up the main road.

Loved how secluded it was at the campsite! My kiddos and dogs were able to have a lot of freedom without me worrying about them too much. They have a farm with lots of animals that we were able to interact with which was very fun for my kids. The campsite is off a secluded path and I would recommend using a vehicle that is more for an off-roading experience just because it can be pretty bumpy for a smaller car. Over all a super fun experience!
Great place to camp!
This is a cool little spot to crash for the night! Greg was super welcoming and showed us around the site. He even started a fire for us! The site feels really secluded and private but I would not recommend booking unless you have an off-roading vehicle! I drove through the field in my lifted Prius and I was clenching my teeth the whole time. But it would be super easy if I had something else!
