I moved to this space in early 2015, and began to quell the chaos here and within myself. We have brought a lot of beauty, peace and productivity to the farm, but there is still a lot in process! The owners of the farm are 70 and 98, and I steward is as in independent-mother, farmer and business-ma'am. I moved my family and farm to this space to rent the commercial kitchen located here, throwing my families sleeping bags in an outbuilding while we made ourselves a home. We (the children, goats, ducks, geese, chickens and bees) are feeling more established here thanks to a large permaculture garden I have begun to weave in the land. As you wander, have grace, a lot of the fences are a mess. The yurt doesn't have a real door. This is not fancy land; this is the boarder of the wilderness, a small strip of kind civilization between the icy water and the wild mountains. This is the Olympic Peninsula. Our farm boarders timberland and the nearby Dungeness River. I have begun forging a trail up to Graywolf campground from the trail out the SE property corner. The first leg has long been established, and is a very pleasant 10-minute walk to the Dunge. Thank you for visiting and providing resources to help make this farm shine!

Multi-Purpose Yurt

Really enjoyed our time here. It met all of our needs. The space is very unique with some great features. Shaelee was very helpful and friendly and showed us awesome hospitality.

Tulgey Wood

This was our first experience using Hipcamp and it was great! Shaelee was communicative, the site was nice, and it was great to have the bathroom and kitchen. (Side note, the kitchen building has a bathroom with a shower in it. We didn’t realize it until our last morning, With the hammocks, slack line, and fire pit, it was a great adventure base :)

Multi-Purpose Yurt

We had a lovely time in the Yurt. Shalee was very welcoming and open. The Children in particular loved the farm animals and playing with the toys, trampoline, etc. The farm has a lot of projects / ideas in various stages of progress, of which the yurt is just one. All in all this makes it a very interesting place but also perhaps a bit rough around the edges. The queen bed in the yurt was comfortable, but the sleeping mats were not really suitable for the children so we used our own camp cots. The adjacent camp site looked like good value and I'd consider asking to pitch a tent if we passed by again.

Shalee was very accommodating, plus we had a shower and firewood and a kitchen, and we got to pet goats. No complaints here!

Multi-Purpose Yurt

Shaelee and her neighbors were great to us! A great respite from long stretches of camping. The farm was awesome, and coming along nicely!
