Enjoy the tiny wood burning stove or take a hot propane-fired giant rainwater shower in the adjacent bathhouse. Get a night's escape from the world, or take a week or more to work remote, get back to nature, reset your clock or make it your basecamp for jump-off adventures!

We provide a cooler (so don't forget ice!) and 2x bundles of firewood as the only cooking method is over the 30" campfire grate. We also provide cooking utensils, plates, bowls, double wall insulated mugs, silverware and also have a coffee/tea station inside with a small kettle which can also be used to rehydrate those camp meals! Only 5 minutes off the highway, and 10 minutes from the ferry, It's a gateway to an Olympic adventure and a refreshing retreat that doesn't feel at all like you're in the middle of a neighborhood.

Super epic tiny cabin, lovely area. Very clean and the shower was glorious! If you’re black-definitely try and get specific directions so you don’t turn down the wrong driveway as I did...

I loved this gorgeous "treehouse" like cabin that I stayed for my birthday! It was so spectacular. Beautiful architecture and craftsmanship. The space was well thought out and felt secluded. Spencer was a great host. I will definitely be back.

Ferngully was a lovely place. It was perfect for us, wanting to take a break from WFH and getting close to nature. The cabin has everything you need to relax and enjoy. It is close but far enough from Seattle, and feel away from it all, but close enough stores and whatever you need. We are also close to many outdoor activities in the Olympic Peninsula.
Spencer thought of all the details to make our stay nice and easy. The bathroom arrangement is great. He was available when we needed.

Perfect little getaway for a weekend. Close to activities to do but also makes you feel secluded like you are in the woods. With how everything was set up I do wish the walk away area was a little more up keep to get down to the cabin and to the water. There are a lot of spiders outside so if you don’t like that be careful! Other than that it was a perfect little getaway!

My Fiancé and I had such a wonderful stay. This cozy little cabin is tucked away in a remote location on the hosts property where we had plenty of privacy and overall enjoyed our getaway hands down and will defiantly be thinking of returning one day😊 when we arrived it was very clean and charming.

This truly is an amazing spot. Hosts were fantastic and made sure that any problem we had, it was taken care of. House rules and instructions are super straight forward and simple to follow. If you book this place, you are setting yourself up for an amazing time!

Staying at Ferngully was amazing — everything you could think of was there. As outdoor professionals, we loved everything Spencer provided to make sure it was ecofriendly and thoughtful (fire starters, biodegradable soap, an extremely well kept compostable toilet....to name a few!) Highly recommend to all— whether you’re beginning your outdoor journey or beginning. You will not regret it.

This cabin was awesome! The cabin itself was so cute and well kept, making our stay really nice. Everything we could have needed was made available by Spencer. The bathroom was super cool, and everybody should try the rain shower. Even in December, it was still worth it. There was plenty of room to spread out outside of the cabin, and the view of the water (with lots of ducks in the morning) was relaxing. It wasn't quite as secluded as we had thought, however it was very quiet and we still didn't really see anybody. We would definitely stay here again, and even though it was December when we stayed we were still very comfortable and plenty warm.
