Epona Horse Park is nestled between the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Majestic Lake Crescent there are many activities and attractions to see please check www. Visit Port Angeles. Our campsites sit next to a 3-acre pond filled with Fish and Wild Birds there is a covered cookout with a 1949 army camp stove and part of the old original log Homestead - which about a hundred years old. Please come and enjoy our wonderful park. Snug little camping spot in the meadow among the trees, view of the pond. Close to multiple other activities and sights within a 10 mile radius. We have horses and chickens on the property. The adventure route trail is nearby for your hiking, biking or horseback riding pleasure. This site offers potable water, a toilet, kitchen, picnic table, trash disposal, and a spot for campfires (outside of a burn ban). We are pet friendly.  Our guests love staying here "The perfect place to bring your authentic self back to nature, the site is great for a couple or groups. There is a pond and a trail that you can venture on and wander around. The host even had homemade cookies that was as perfect as her fresh loaf of bread she brought out as we were packing things up. All my needs were sooo met, I can’t wait to come back and do it again!!!"It's a meadow with a covered shelter and a fire pit, access to the pond, vault toilet table and chairs. portable water. The elk will sometimes drop by. These are wild animals and you need to give them lots of space and if you have dog with you please prevent it from bothering them as the elk have been known to injure them. There is a home 150 ft west of the campsite

Camp Epona
We had a fabulous time. The site was clean and spacious. The kids had fun fishing in the pond and we got to see a herd of elk wander through the meadow one evening. Great access to Lake Crescent and Margaret was a gem (cookies are amazing).

Elk camp
Cool spot on the old ranch. Caught some bluegill and walked the dogs. Got to pet a couple horses that were getting tacked up for a ride. Jennifer is super sweet and really likes for people to enjoy themselves on the property.

Camp Epona
Beautiful and clean
Loved the Camp Epona. The host NellieBelle was amazing and super sweet, giving us fishing poles and encouraging us to catch fish, and even a skillet to fry them up. The land is super beautiful. We were able to park the cars and tents around the site creating a privacy that wouldn’t naturally be there, so it worked well for my group. Also we watched a herd of magestic elk pass by. Super lovely experience.

Elk camp
Margaret is a gracious host. The Taj mahal was easily the nicest pit toilet I've ever used. It's the side yard of a small house that no one uses, but the field was well manicured and clean.

Elk camp
Elk Camp ROCKS!
Elk Camp and Margaret the Host, were both Amazing. I was able to book very easily for 15 Honda Elements and 15 people staying at this amazing historical site. It was level, peaceful and private. If you are looking for a TRUE Olympic Peninsula peaceful camping spot, this is it. And, if you are lucky, Margaret will tell you stories of the cowboys & cowgirls of past times and their travels. The added bonus was their Bougee new Outhouse!
Location
Port Angeles, Clallam, Washington, United StatesTraditional, ancestral territory of Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla and S’Klallam First Nations according to To respect the Host's privacy, the precise address of this land will be provided after booking
