It’s hard to describe this beautiful place... amazing is the only clear descriptor! It’s an isolated little nest, castle, cabin that’s nestled on a cliff. Beautiful isolation with some of the comforts of a modern life. Eclectic and romantic. We’re for sure going back!
Private getaway minutes from town
Rustic cabin in the woods. The perfect getaway for a few quiet days. I loved waking up to the sound of sea birds, waves, and a wind chime. I spent most of my time sitting in the window seat looking out over the water and my husband took up residence by the wood stove. The ladder to the loft/bed was manageable for me at 34 weeks pregnant, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have mobility issues (same goes for the path up to the cabin). Luckily there is an option to drop the mattress down to the main floor if needed. The host met us at the site and showed us around, very friendly and accommodating.
Magical and accesible
We had a fantastic stay at Lizzy's cabin. The cabin was much larger than we expected, and the hosts were fantastic and super helpful however the most surprising thing for us was the location itself. We were a 15 minute drive from Port Townsend and yet truly felt like we were at the end of the world. Bringing extra flashlights/lanterns will help since there isn't running electricity!
This is an incredible little cabin, perched on a bluff looking out over the strait. The hosts were beyond accommodating and the cabin, despite not having power or running water, has pretty much everything else you might need. This cabin has a lot of character. Very private and very secluded, if that’s what you’re looking for. The views, and the land it sits, on are truly mind blowing. Had a great time and definitely look forward to returning.
A rustic cabin with great views
Staying here was such an amazing experience. The cabin is located a couple of hours from Seattle but feels like it's worlds away. Port Townsend, a Victorian seaport town, is located 10 minutes away and has everything you'll need to make the most of your stay. The directions were easy to follow, the cabin was incredibly well maintained, and the Host was so friendly and helpful in getting us set up. This is a great year-round getaway from the City and offers insane views of the Salish Sea, Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Protection Island. Firewood was available onsite but we brought our own. The cabin is fully off-grid so be sure to bring plenty of water and a headlamp or two! Cannot wait to come back here!!
We had a great time at this spot. It was even better than anticipated! We booked last minute, and weren't able to get to the site until after dark. Lissy was very accommodating and made the cabin cozy for us upon arrival. Its a really sweet spot with a beautiful view of the ocean. We would definitely like to return another time to catch the sunset!
