The vibe at Enchanting Secluded Wood Cabin
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Nestled up in the hills North of Lyle Washington is this amazing little cabin. The hosts, Michael and Julie, had built this beautiful cabin, the Jewel box, and then lived in it while building their current home. The space is filled with beautiful woodworking details, clearly a passion for the creators. Lots of windows gives the feeling of not being separate from the forest that surrounds it. Far from any town, it is so peaceful, dark, and quiet out here.
The house is filled with all the modern amenities. Gas stove, along with pots and pans to cook with. A spice rack for all your cooking needs. Even some chocolates, tea, and coffee. The hosts were also an amazing couple. Fun to talk to, they have a wonderful story about how they met. Julie also took us on a tour of their substantial garden, and seemed a wealth of knowledge. We even got a chance to sample some of the veggies!
One thing I would love to come back for, when not during the summer, is the great little wood heated hot tub that overlooks the valley below.
If you are looking to get away and disconnect, this is a great place to do just that.
Thank you both for the wonderful stay!
