We went to WA for some hiking. So, I knew that my husband and I would be out most of the time. We just needed a place to sleep, a coffee maker, shower, and a microwave. We are not high maintenance. The Cute Nest provided all but the microwave; however, it did have a stove and toaster. The host thought of almost everything. We stayed two nights. As the days progressed, many of the outlets began to blow fuses, including the refrigerator, but again, we didn't need many appliances. The road by the RV can be a little noisy. All in all, it was very cute, spacious, and had almost everything you could possibly want or need. It was close to activities. I would stay there again.

Great Stay!
My friend and I stayed at Lu's place last week. We had an incredible stay here! Everything was SO clean, and the decor inside made the van feel super homey. About a 40 minute drive away from Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent, and Mount Storm King hike area. If you are staying here at night, definitely drive over to the Dungeness Spit for sunset, which is only 12 minutes away.

Perfect spot for two!
We loved our stay at the Cute Nest and only wished we had booked more time! It was really perfect for a mother daughter vacation, and when Lu says she has everything you need, she really means it— Ground coffee, filters, spices for cooking, a fully-equipped kitchen, shampoo and conditioner, plenty of soap and green cleaning supplies. We found the beds very comfortable, and there were so many homey touches; the lavender pillow spray being a favorite.
Although Lu’s home is right next door, we felt very secluded and you really can’t even see the house through the very dense hedge that separates the trailer. We didn’t hear or see anyone, and the outdoor sitting area was cozy and well appointed.
The only warning I would give to people considering a stay here or is that it really is a tight squeeze in the “master” bedroom, which is also the bathroom. If you’ve ever gone on a cruise, you’ll be familiar with how confined state rooms can be. It felt sort of like that, which wasn’t a problem for us but is worth mentioning to others.
A final shout-out to Lu and extra gold stars—we locked our keys (and phone) in the car, and she kindly let us use her cell phone to reach a locksmith (on a Sunday, at 6pm no less 😒) and loaned us another key until we had the situation ironed out. Little things like that go a long way and I can’t say enough how much we appreciated the kindness.
We’ll be back again for a longer stay, dates be willing!

It was our 1st time staying in an RV... it was decorated tastefully. We will most definitey visit again. Our host was friendly and brought us fresh eggs, which were delish. Thanks Lu
