If you want to dry camp at a quiet, serene place to enjoy nature, this place is marvelous!
Debra, the hostess is friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The nearby town isn't even visible from the orchard/ranch.
Even though there are no designated camping spaces, Debra finds the best spot for you based on vehicle size, etc.
We will definitely return!!
The family was pleasantly surprised by staying at DJ Ranch. We are pretty new to hipcamp and didn’t really know what we were getting into but the host, Deb, was was sincere and welcoming. She met us in town and escorted us to the site. Introduced us to her horses and shared some information about her property then left us to enjoy it. The site was a beautiful working orchard and extremely peaceful with views of the entire valley of Okanogan, Wa. This was just a pit stop on our journey but would come back again if and would recommend to my family.

Debra will exceed your expectations. Not only is the property gorgeous, her kindness and hospitality made us feel so welcomed. She helped us get all settled in, brought us firewood from their apple orchard, and even gave our kids horse rides! Her husband, Jim gave us a tour of the orchard and tought us so many fun facts about the types of apples, the grafting process, and gave us tips on where to centure out for fun. These people are amazing. Very highly recommended!
We stay in a lot of Hipcamps. I am not sure what was better; the camp site or Debra! They both are excellent. Debra was so friendly, knowledgeable and kind. She met us in town and we followed her up to the campsite. At the campsite we had views over the whole valley, a cute and clean outhouse and she worked with us to find the perfect spot for our trailer. No worries if it’s raining, she has set up a darling place to sit in the horse arena by the campsite. It’s quiet and peaceful and it to has a chair that looks out the door over the valley. Great spot to sip coffee. If you love a farm setting, views and nice people this is your place.
This campsite surprised us. When we were directed to park our camper van next to a giant metal shed on the property, it seemed like it might be a disappointment. But then our host showed us the strip of grass behind the shed that overlooks the apple orchard and the valley beyond. Beautiful setting. We arranged our table and chairs on the grass strip and had a wonderful stay. Our host, Debra, was very friendly, interesting and accommodating.
What a wonderful place to camp! My husband and I spent last weekend at DJ Ranch and we absolutely loved it! Debra met us at the IGA and we followed her up to her lovely orchard. She showed us the perfect place to camp complete with two cute hammocks and a adorable outhouse. We had a gorgeous view of the orchards and surronding mountains. We can't wait to go back. She let us use a little table that was in her riding arena, and she even had cornhole! We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was also fun to watch the farm in action with the tractors and watering.

We were hoping to get a camp spot in north cascades closer to Seattle, but we’re so glad we weren’t able to. Debras property was so much better than we could’ve imagIned. She is amazing and keeps beautiful horses that she let our kids feed and pet. Also a sweet dog that gets jealous when you pet anyone else and uses his paw to redirect you, and a cat called John who likes to hang out and see what’s up. The whole experience was so fantastic and Debra is the sort of person that wish there were more of. There are beautiful orchards, hammocks and the vibe is so warm and peaceful. My kids did not want to leave, and I had a hard time tearing myself away form one horse in particular. So grateful to Debra for her hospitality and making the trip so memorable.

We had a great time at DJ ranch. Debra was so nice to get us all set up for the night and show us around the place. The kids loved the horses, picking berries, and swinging on the hammock. Our little girl was sad our stay was so short. Thank you Debra for sharing your lovey place.
Debra was the most amazing host! DJ Ranch was the perfect place to spend an evening enjoying the incredible view of the orchard, horses, and sunrise/sunset. Debra made it extremely easy to feel comfortable and at home with everything we could possibly need. We had our own very private area overlooking the orchard. Cannot wait to come back to stay at the DJ Ranch with Debra!
