Beautiful oasis tucked away
Steve was an amazing host. This property is immaculate. It sits in the back of a beautiful pasture where Steve raises his cattle. The cows were very friendly, even letting us pet them. Steve is the most welcoming host and continually checking in via text message to see if there was anything needed to make our stay better. There is a lovely fire pit and picnic table for the best game playing. Please remember there is no toilet and to be respect of his property bring a bucket for your poo! We will be back, thank you Steve.
We really needed some time away from everything and when we saw the description of Diamond N Ranch we were like "this sound like just what we need." We were not disappointed!! With only allowing one group there at a time Steve keeps it quiet and calm. We brought some of our own fire wood but Steve made sure there was plenty stacked at the camp site for the number of days we were there. Water is readily available and Steve is easy to communicate with and checked on us twice a day to see if we needed anything. It was great seeing the cows and the pond has large frogs in it. One of the big surprises was the lack of bugs. If you'd like a get away that is private and calm to then Diamond N Ranch is perfect for you.
Book this spot. you won't regret it
We had an amazing time at Steve's! The campsite was private and beautiful. Steve was very kind and welcoming and checked in with us each day to see if we needed more water / firewood.
We fell asleep to peepers each night. Just a wonderful spot to get away and not have to worry about camping in a public campsite
Hands down one of the best sites we have stayed at. You can’t beat being the only campers at a site. Steve makes sure you have everything you need and his property is awesome. Kids loved the experience of staying on a cattle ranch. Site was level and Steve has water available on site. You can’t beat the hospitality. Also a good spot if you want to day trip to the coast. 40 minutes to west port. Check out lake Sylvia state park for some nice secluded trails and a swimming hole. Would book again!
Wonderfully private camp with cows!
We were looking for a place reasonably close to hoem to try out our new to us tent trailer off grid. This ranch met all oir expectations and more! There was a beautiful private site overlooking a pond, marsh and cows as the only neighbors! Plenty of firewood, great firepit and picnic table under a large old tree. Depsite being more "country camping" than in a forest, we saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed the peace and quiet!!!
Quiet, private, and we caught great views of comet Neowise! This was a great private spot to spend a few days away from town. Plenty of shade. Wide open space. Bird chatter in the mornings and frogs at night. We appreciated the fire pit and ample dry firewood on site. Steve is an excellent host: he made sure we could reach him if we needed anything but left us to ourselves.
The mosquitoes were a bit rough for about an hour or two each evening but not relentless and hey, it’s camping.
We hope to be back!
Very nice relaxing atmosphere
We enjoyed our stay at N Diamond Ranch. Will return to spend more time n bring friends. It’s a great place to visit n just relax from all the chaos happening in the world from Covid 19. A little peace of heaven n only a hour from Olympia
Peaceful farm and sunset
Steve’s spot was a great Friday evening stopover on the way to a weekend at the coast. Great picnic table with a spot for a camp stove, a fire pit with unlimited fire wood nearby, with a view of the moon rise over the cattle farm. Very peaceful and quiet - thank you Steve!
