You will love staying here!!
Jerrett was one of the best hosts I’ve had on Hipcamp, we got a tour around his property and were able to use whatever we could to have a very comfortable stay, along with Jerrett always tending to his awesome hot tub for us. We had 4 campsites all to ourselves and he let us pick whichever one we wanted. My girlfriend and I were lucky to have stayed here and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Jarrett’s land is incredible! The trees, ferns and landscape was welcoming and gorgeous. It’s snowed on us a bit which brought out special beauty.
We van camped and had a flat spot near the first fire pit. Jarrett’ concocted a shelter so we could be dry while we enjoyed the heat and ambiance. His series of ropes down to the creek allowed us to enjoy the property even more. As a local, Jarrett pointed out some especially nice spots to visit, which we enjoyed!

Cozy spot close the ferry. Had a great time in the hot tub and meeting the kitties living in the forest.

I’m a bit torn on this experience. We were immediately welcomed and shown around the property which was nice. He showed us where everything was and guided us to pick a spot that worked for us. He offered for us to use his wheelbarrow to bring our stuff to our site. The bathroom was very well maintained. My struggle was regarding the firewood. It was presented online and in person that firewood was provided. In our tour of the property, he showed us the piles of firewood and also let us know that any stumps, branches, etc were up for grabs. He requested that we limit the use of the kindling which was no problem. Our second day as we went to grab a couple more pieces of wood, he came up abruptly and asked that we not use his kindling which wasn’t what we were doing. We were looking for larger pieces like he’d requested. When we tried to respond and explain that we weren’t taking any small pieces of wood, he talked over me. In the end we ended up feeling like we offended him, but were just following the guidelines he gave initially. Overall not a terrible experience, although I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable going back.
