It was absolutely majestic. You go up about 4 miles or winding hills on gravel and partial dirt roads, we had no problem with our small suv, pickup truck and pop up camper. The view is breathtaking. Mountains behind you and looking out over the hills and valleys. Saw shooting stars, nebula and clear views with our telescope. Water and electric hookups are perfect, the water tastes amazing! Coyote howls through the night but didn’t see or hear any close by. We felt extremely safe, it really is a bit secluded despite the one park model home visible next door and the remote houses around. The fire pit is very unique with gorgeous tall stones around the back to fight the winds that can come through from off the hills. On that note, if you have an awning, watch it! So much space, we will absolutely be returning. Chris was great - not only did he have me call him for precise directions (the map point from Hipcamp is a bit off - stay to the left instead of turning right like it says - look at the map with the sites 1 and 2 as you book and it’s more accurate), but he swung by once we arrived to introduce himself and let us know he’d be in the area if we needed anything. The rock quarry below is great for spending an hour shooting some targets (not super long distance). Perfect Memorial Day weekend!

A sandy secluded spot nestled a top a desert plateau with not a soul around when we were there. It has a really great large firepit with gorgeous quarry rocks with one that is shaped like a chair. Amenities include a modern electrical hookup, water and a shovel and we had the site with the picnic table. The road leading to the site is long and twisty which adds to the charm and is well maintained. If you are lucky you may be by yourself at this this 2 site spot with a 180 degree breathtaking valley view. There's plenty of wildlife to enjoy especially the bird activity. We took a nice hike around the area viewing foliage and interesting rock formations.

We had so much fun! The site was very clean and we had an amazing view. The direction's were off but we managed to find it and it was fun to explore the hillside. The road going up has some blind corners so if you have a larger trailer or rv I would approach it very carefully. All in all we had a wonderful time! If you are looking for a good time without a lot of people around you this is the site to go!

It was absolutely the best place to camp. unfortunately the weather was not great but I will definitely come back here.

I didn't see Chris but I have no problem with that. Space was very clean. Would have been better if there was less wind.
We had a good time and would like to return.
The site is absolutely gorgeous and a serene nature escape from the bustle of congested urban centers Chris was gracious and polite. Thank you for sharing!
We had a fantastic three-day weekend at this site. We were itching to get out of the city (and out of our home) to get some fresh air and this site provided the perfect getaway. The site was very private, big, beautiful views, and the water spigot was super handy. We had a lot of fun going on excursions during the days to go swimming, hiking, and mountain biking. It was great to have such a nice campsite to come back to and relax after our long days of adventuring. Chris was very responsive to our questions and the neighbors (way down the road) were super friendly. Would definitely come back!
This place was amazing! I almost don’t want to write this review because I want to keep this place a secret. Nice level large pull through site (enough room and hook-ups for two RVs), 1 picnic table and 2 fire pits provided. Choice of 30 or 50 amp and good drinking water. Views were amazing, Alta lake 20 mins away or cool off in Columbia river 15 mins away. The host was super friendly and professional, offered to be available if we needed anything during our stay.
Beautiful views from sunset to sunrise. So many stars! So quiet. We would go back again!
