About Mt Hood Haven
"Glamping" is the term being used these days but we prefer "Comfy Camping". Mt. Hood Haven is a 16 x 20' cozy camping tent under a wooden pavilion with a large front porch and pretty views of Mt. Hood. King size bed with weather appropriate bedding, well stocked kitchen with two burner stove top (no ovens or fridges so bring a cooler with your favorite foods, if you're travelling we can provide a cooler), front porch has a propane barbecue, bathroom with composting toilet, hot shower, and towels, and a wood stove for chilly days and nights (firewood provided). We think we've provided everything for a cozy, relaxing stay. Remember you are camping with most of the comforts of home except NO automatic heat or air conditioning! Winters can be cold and snowy and summers can be hot and dry. Fall and spring have all the weather in between. Pick your favorite season to visit Contentment Acres. You won't be sorry!!
If you have a group you'd like to spend time with in a pretty, peaceful, private setting give us a call. We can accommodate small groups up to 50 people on a case by case basis. We've loved hosting staff appreciation parties, miscellaneous clubs, and even small rustic weddings.

The vibe at Mt Hood Haven
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Our experience at ConTENTment Acres was so great. When we arrived we were greeted by Pamela and a few of her lovely animals. She gave us the tour and made sure we knew how to start the stove and all the other essentials. The property was beautiful and would be fun for any size group. Our tent (more like a cabin!) had a wood stove, shower, toilet, fully stocked kitchen and anything else you would need to feel at home. It rained the night we stayed there and the sound of the rain on the roof was so relaxing. We stayed warm and cozy all night. Pamela said she loves staying out there in the winter and I can see why. This place is probably beautiful year round. I would definitely go back!
