King size bed with weather appropriate bedding, well stocked kitchen with two burner stove top (no ovens or fridges so bring a cooler with your favorite foods, if you're travelling we can provide a cooler), front porch has a propane barbecue, bathroom with composting toilet, hot shower, and towels, and a wood stove for chilly days and nights (firewood provided). We think we've provided everything for a cozy, relaxing stay. Remember you are camping with most of the comforts of home except NO automatic heat or air conditioning! Winters can be cold and snowy and summers can be hot and dry. Fall and spring have all the weather in between. Pick your favorite season to visit Contentment Acres. You won't be sorry!!

If you have a group you'd like to spend time with in a pretty, peaceful, private setting give us a call. We can accommodate small groups up to 50 people on a case by case basis. We've loved hosting staff appreciation parties, miscellaneous clubs, and even small rustic weddings.

Our experience at ConTENTment Acres was so great. When we arrived we were greeted by Pamela and a few of her lovely animals. She gave us the tour and made sure we knew how to start the stove and all the other essentials. The property was beautiful and would be fun for any size group. Our tent (more like a cabin!) had a wood stove, shower, toilet, fully stocked kitchen and anything else you would need to feel at home. It rained the night we stayed there and the sound of the rain on the roof was so relaxing. We stayed warm and cozy all night. Pamela said she loves staying out there in the winter and I can see why. This place is probably beautiful year round. I would definitely go back!

Call it a tent if you want, but this is luxury. Full kitchen, bed, shower, and wood stove inside. How do you prefer your coffee? Leaded or 1/2 Calf?Seriously the coolest outhouse I've ever seen. If you are staying in one of the tents, you will have your own bathroom inside, but I highly recommend checking these things out. Hammocks all over the place so you can lounge whenever you get the urge.

My wife and I had a great time at Contentment Acres / Mt. Hood Haven. The hostess is warm and friendly, and the accommodations are very thoughtfully laid out. Having the comforts of a hotel room paired with the canvas walls (which allowed in the sounds of nature) made for a very pleasant weekend. We're looking forward to going back!

Chad, so glad you, Jennifer, and your Mom enjoyed your stay! I like when guests walk the property and surrounding areas. Nice you were able to enjoy the firepot under the pavilion to inspect your mushroom find. It was so nice to meet you and yours. I look forward to you visiting again in the future.

Pam's site is absolutely stunning. My friend and I had an amazing, relaxing stay, with such a gracious host. The glamping tent was almost indescribable. Neither of us had ever seen anything quite like it. If you're looking for a luxury camping experience, this is it!!! We're looking to come back every year.

Perfect scenery and tranquility. This is a place to unplug, relax and soak in the wind while admiring the stunning views of Mt. Hood. We will be back very soon. Just too good to stay away for too long.

We’ve been glamping a couple of times before, but nothing like this. This gorgeous, genuinely relaxing, out-of-the-way property is further enhanced by phenomenal amenities and Pam’s outstanding hospitality. She has thought of every detail and more, right down to home-baked goodies upon arrival. We drove there in our camper van with all our camping equipment and didn’t need to get even one thing from the van! It went down to 38 degrees one night while there, and the wood-burning stove kept us toasty warm. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Definitely, supremely recommended to future guests!

Contentment Acres was the perfect getaway. The property was extensive and we got stunning views of Mt. Hood during the day and The Milky Way at night. Pam was a wonderful host and we got to meet some of her cats as well!

This place was also just a short drive away from the town where we could grab dinner and from some of the best white water rafting we have ever done!

I would highly recommend this place and we definitely plan to visit again.

We LOVED our stay at Mount Hood Haven. The tent had all of the comforts of an apartment (kitchen, bathroom, nice comfortable bed, etc) while still giving you a nice camping experience. The amenities on the property were amazing, and though many other campers were there (holiday weekend) the property is big enough to make each site feel private. We will definitely be returning!!

Contentment Acres is a magical haven of relaxation in the woods. The tent we rented was nicer than most hotel rooms I've stayed in, and every single detail was well thought out. Pam was fabulous and friendly, while allowing us full privacy. The beautiful grounds, the friendly critters, the cozy fireplace and VERY comfortable bed all combined to help make this a wonderfully relaxing and memorable weekend. Would HIGHLY recommend!

My boyfriend and I spent a fabulous weekend here. The site went above and beyond all of our expectations. We stayed in one of the yurts. It was so cozy and the amenities were really fun to have access to. The kitchen in the yurt was perfect! There were lots of places to do outdoor fires and cook food outdoors too! We loved the cute cats we met and Cable the doggo! The property was stunning and it was so much fun to explore. We got caught in a hail storm and spent the day playing board games all cozied up to the wooden stove. It was truly a little slice of heaven. We can’t wait to come back with friends! Thank you Pam for such an amazing stay!

Thank you Ashley for the nice review and for visiting. I enjoyed talking with you and Evan and I appreciate how sweet you were to all the crazy critters. Glad you were able to explore before the storm and also enjoy the tent during! I look forward to you visiting again. Enjoy the holiday season that is quickly approaching!
