"Glamping" is the term being used these days but we prefer "Comfy Camping". Mt. Adams Abode is a 16 x 20' cozy camping tent under a wooden pavilion with Mt. Hood views from the covered front porch. King size bed with weather appropriate bedding, well stocked kitchen with two burner stove top (no ovens or fridges so bring a cooler with your favorite foods, if you're travelling we can provide a cooler), front porch has a propane barbecue, bathroom with composting toilet, hot shower, and towels, and a wood stove for chilly days and nights (firewood provided). We think we've provided everything for a cozy, relaxing stay. Remember you are camping with most of the comforts of home except NO automatic heat or air conditioning! Winters can be cold and snowy and summers can be hot and dry. Fall and spring have all the weather in between. Pick your favorite season to visit Contentment Acres. You won't be sorry!!

If you have a group you'd like to spend time with in a pretty, peaceful, private setting give us a call. We can accommodate small groups up to 50 people on a case by case basis. We've loved hosting staff appreciation parties, miscellaneous clubs, and even small rustic weddings.

Words can't describe how much I loved staying here! The "tents" are 5 Star accommodations and exceeded (by a lot!) my expectations. Immaculate, cozy, CONTENTMENT, and a Mt Hood view! Just an incredible place to relax and regroup.

Pam is a wonderful host and her love for her property is so evident in every well thought out detail she put into this remarkable, peaceful, experience.
