As you might have guessed from the name, Lambert Horse Camp is a great place for those who want to bring their hoofed friends along. The campground features watering troughs and provides direct access to the Old Stage trail, which is a great place to explore the area by horseback. Of course, if you never got your pony growing up you can still enjoy the trail by foot or mountain bike. But with only five sites, you might want to have a back-up plan should the campground be full. If you land a site though, you’ll love it.
