My friends and I only had a quick weekend up in Bellingham. Cecelia's space was perfect for us. We mostly just needed a place to throw up our tents and have a home base while we explored Bellingham. Her place is only 15 mins from Bellingham and even closer to great natural areas and hiking. Her space seems set up for special events like weddings, so it's well maintained, and has great little solar lights to illuminate the way to the bathrooms (which were perfectly clean porta-potties). As for Cecelia herself, she seemed like a very caring and kind host. We didn't arrive until 11:30pm due to leaving after work in Portland, but even so she came down to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. All in all this was a 5/5 experience!

This was a quick getaway for us because we live in Bellingham. If you’re coming from out-of-town, the property is minutes from Galbraith trails or pedal straight out of the campsite for great biking around Lake Samish. Cecelia was a fantastic host — responsive to questions, provided great directions, and lovingly maintains the property. It’s destined to be an event center, so there’s a large lawn surrounded by trees and (during our stay) foxgloves. Explore a short trail and relax by the firepit. We were the only campers the night of our stay, so it was private and quiet. Easy, convenient, relaxing.

Cecelia’s place is perfect. Well kept. Safe. Just the right amount of seclusion while still being close to all the things you’ll want to see.

The campsite was exactly as described. There was a nice big open area for setting up the tent and, even though it was open, we still had enough privacy from the other campers. The washroom was easy to find and the overall layout was very good. And a huge highlight is that the site is only a short drive off the I-5 but is sheltered by trees so there is virtually no noise. I would highly recommend staying at the Carson Creek Estate.

The Carson Creek Estate showing the open area for camping and our little tent. Even our low car handled the off-roading adventure just fine!

Great open field spot right off the highway. Easy to find, nice and clean open field with a central fire pit. Easy to locate and nice little paths to walk around the area. Good communication throughout. Not much for a view since it’s just a field, otherwise nice spot.

Cecelia was friendly and accommodating. The site where I set up was a nice green grass area. I was super tired and need a safe place to set up my camp. This worked great.
