Spacious yard in port angeles
A lot of fun staying here. It is a big field in someone’s yard. Lots of space to play frisbee and throw around a football. Can get a little buggy around the pond area. The fire pit was nice and spacious, lots of wood provided. They had disc golf set up when we stayed and they gave us permission to play. Close to Olympic, about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Hoh rainforest. Fun stay.
Roosters kept us awake all night
While we didn't meet the host, we found the site easily. I loved that we could reserve the entire site all to ourselves. While the grassy area was well maintained and large, we were awoken by roosters crowing at 3:45 am -- they continued until we left at 10am. We were all exhausted from lack of sleep. I wouldn't recommend camping here if you aren't the heaviest of sleepers.
Dissappointed, want my money back.
This is not a camping site. There is no privacy at all, the yard is surrounded by houses and a street. There are no trees to block any noise. The pond is extreamly dirty, not even aminals were going near it. The firepit is on the 2 RV's that perminatly live theres porch. I ended up leaving a night early because it was just a horrible spot. The photos shows are tweaked because there is houses and perminate RV's that are right there and the dock is even a different color then in the liating photos.
