Amazing first camping experience
My family decided to go on an spontaneous road trip and possibly camping for the first time or seeping in the car with the kids. We discovered Hipcamp.com and was hoping for last minute availability. Fortunately, this place came up and booked it right away. The host responded to our booking request Immediately. She was very responsive. We didn’t know what to expect but got to their property and it was well taken care of. We were hesitant to drive in their nice grass but had to. Hosts were very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Kids enjoyed seeing their cows and chicken. They even had a fire pit ready for their guests. Great view of the sunset and sunrise. We had an amazing view of the planet that night too. Everything was just a great experience especially for our kids, their first time camping. Close to their small downtown with restaurants and coffee shops. It’s near a blueberry picking farm. The drive to/from Anacortes was nice and refreshing especially when you live in the city. We can’t wait to be back to this hidden gem in Bow, WA with great hosts. Thank you!!!!
Camp here for a 5-star experience!
We had a a fabulous experience at Camping in Bow. I can't say enough about the camp hosts! Brenda and Tracy were welcoming and so friendly. Their property in Bow is beautiful! The property, area for their pets, and site were immaculate with chairs around a large fire pit. We had use of their RV to shower, the kitchen sink and the flush toilet. We were unexpectedly gifted firewood and farm fresh eggs - Brenda took me to get eggs their chickens had just laid both mornings! They even offered us the use of their sun canopy. The views out into the fields are beautiful, especially at sunset. This is a perfect, low key location close to Padden Lake, Samish hiking trails, Chuckanut Drive, and the quaint town of Edison. The hosts really went out of their way to see if we needed anything and are really good-hearted, conscientious people. We left with a half-dozen farm fresh, organic eggs, green beans, baby carrots, and cherry tomatoes from their garden. Wow! I personally loved their pets & how well they were cared for. This place is a gem all the way around! I feel grateful to have had this experience. Here is to the good camping life! We will certainly ask to return! Maureen, Allen, and Finlay
We loved our stay. Brenda was very accommodating and always made sure that our camping experience was perfect. She let us pick up fresh eggs in the morning and she had yard games for us to borrow. The farm has a large field where we set camp with beautiful views and Brenda's house has a great backyard with a large firepit.
