The vibe at Bogachiel River Campsites Camp
Beautiful campsite right on the bank of the Bogachiel River. This would be a perfect basecamp while you explore the Olympic National Park and all that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Although it was raining and cold when I was there, I would imagine that this would be a really fun spot during the summer. You could swim or paddle in the river and chill by the fire in the evening. I was inspired by the beautiful beaches and rain forest all around and can't wait to get back up to this area again. This camp is highly recommended! Thanks Byron and Hipcamp!

Byron and his family were very friendly and helpful, and the surrounding area is gorgeous. The site is right on a river you can walk down for over a mile or even go for a swim. The site itself wasn't particularly well groomed, though. Full of lumps of dry grass we had to shovel out of the way just to set up our tent. Other than that slight hiccup, we had a lovely time at Byron's site. It is also probably a bit overpriced. Would still recommend!
There are actually four campsites here; the one pictured (which is very nice) plus three others (which are overgrown and do not have river access). Water out of the spigot was very cloudy and lots of debris, so we didn't believe it was potable.
An awesome spot directly on the river. We even saw elks there drinking water, used the river for swimming and just enjoyed to be at this lovely spot. However we had troubles to find the place, because we got no adress, only phonenumber, but had no signal. There is no toilet, you have to use a shovel. If you like that, the spot is highly recommended.
Camping spot was perfect for the local attractions. The spot itself was clean and well maintained. Wood was available for fires. So far my best experience with hipcamp.
Nice site right along the river. Drive through a big field to arrive at the campsite which sits beneath trees along the river, which you can access and walk along. Also was offered as much firewood as we needed to take down to the campsite. Nearby there is a rope swing under the bridge that people were swinging from.
