Following the decision to cultivate a rural life for our French-American family, we moved from France to the USA in 2000. This journey landed us on 10 acres of rolling land with a desire to grow lavender, France's quintessential crop. 22 years later, we're still growing lavender, improving our grounds, and finding new ways to engage with visitors to our beautiful valley. Make your home base on a peaceful lavender farm here in the Walla Walla Valley. Reserve your spot and roll on in with your motorhome, trailer or van. Set up on the large pull-through area and enjoy your private view of the Blue Mountains, the lavender fields, and the rural charm of the valley. Peace and quiet abound. Take your meals outdoors under the vine-covered trellis. Meditate on the bench swing or explore the lavender field. Camp site is approximately 100' from primary residence and landscaping offers privacy. Evenings and nights are quiet and dark. You'll enjoy nature's sounds (frogs, owls, crickets, coyotes and cows, depending on the season) and unobstructed views of the night sky, including dramatic moonrises and sunrises. Daytime you may see pheasant, quail, doves, wild turkeys, hawks and rabbits. Jean-Paul and Karen established Blue Mountain Lavender Farm in 2000 and offer up this attractive camp site during the farm's off-season. This is a working farm so you may encounter a bit of daytime mowing, trimming or such, but the pleasure of your visit is always kept in mind. Add firewood or lavender buttermilk pancakes to your reservation too increase the pleasure of your stay. The farm is near west-side wineries like Waterbrook, L'Ecole 41, and Woodward Canyon. Frenchtown Historical Site, Wine Valley Golf Course, and Whitman Mission National Historic Site are nearby. Walla Walla's charming and celebrated downtown district is 12 miles away. Surrounding roads with little traffic are perfect for walking or bicycling.

Walla Walla's Lavender Farm
We loved staying at Karen and Jean-Paul’s lavender farm. The setting is beautiful, with lovely shady spots to picnic, areas to wander, and many spots to sit and enjoy views. Enjoyed watching kestrels, red-tail hawks and great horned owl. Hosts were very friendly, interesting, and helpful - we felt lucky to stay at this little corner of their family property. They also have a delightful shop where we grabbed a few gifts for our college-bound daughter.

Walla Walla's Lavender Farm
We had the wonderful opportnity to stay two nights at Walla Walla's Lavender Farm, (October 25, 26) and it was perfect. It was peaceful and quiet. Jean-Paul and Karen provided a great spot to park our trailer and their property was so welcoming. I can only imagine how beautiful the lavendar fields are when they are blooming, we enjoyed walking through the field and savoring the scent of lavendar. We woke up each morning to spectacular views of surrounding properties. We were able to un-hook and leave each day to visit nearby family and all that the area has to offer. This was a great find and we will most certainly return. Thank you for sharing and the tasty warm baguette Jean Paul delivered to us was delicious and a special touch we so appreciated.

Walla Walla's Lavender Farm
Wonderful farm, Wonderful family!
Karen was accommodating and commutative via messaging and there was great written communication at the campsite. They were all gracious hosts, especially their wonderful black cat. Jean-Paul even brought me out fresh bread, baked his favorite way, it was delicious! Karen opened up her farm shop for me. She sells superior handcrafted items and high quality products that makes you excited to bring home exceptional merchandise. Come for the sunsets in the lavender field, stay for the quiet and relaxing nights listening to the birds in the trees and watching the moon rise. Camping in an off season lavender farm delivers a tranquility that feels as nourishing as the plants around you, getting ready for a long winters nap.

Walla Walla's Lavender Farm
The farm is beautiful! The host greeted us upon arrival and was very kind showing us options for parking and the site. They also gave us the most amazing warm baguette to enjoy—what a generous and thoughtful touch! The farm is secluded and quiet (er, aside from a distant neighbor’s dog who barked all night), and the RV parking site is nicely separated from the main home by a covered pergola and picnic area. We had gorgeous views of the night sky and a long dirt road between fields to take a good walk.

Walla Walla's Lavender Farm
Great camping destination
Really nice couple run the Lavender Farm. They greeted us when we arrived and gave us the lavender pancake mix I bought online. We stayed there during their off season, we had a great views, the weather was perfect. They have a covered lighted patio for the picnic table and a two person swing and were allowed to walk the paths through the lavender. We were able to go into their lavender boutique and get gifts for family. We had water and power for the trailer.
