Our property is a well maintained 5 acres with lots of room to roam. Salmon Creek runs along one side of the property (and is accessible by walking down a short trail.) Great spot for fishing (although close to the bridge of the main road.)The camp site is around 1/4 acre, with space for a few vehicles (RVs, trailers, etc), lots of tent spots on grass (under trees), and a portable fireplace and table to accommodate whatever kind of group you have.  We have just leveled some additional areas and planted grass, and those sections will not be available, but still plenty of space for RVs and trailers.  The other side of the property is a very old cemetery, and a great place for exercising and walking dogs. No other neighbors around. Feels secluded, and yet minutes from I-5 and I-205, and 5 min from Costco. Depending on where you decide to set up camp, our house may be visible. We only allow one camping group at a time in order to provide more privacy for our guests, and plenty of room for kids to run around on trails, play games in the field, or whatever. Please, no more than 2 dogs. We do have a Hipcamp barn structure on the other side of the property that may be occupied. Convenient place to stop on your way to National Parks, Mt St Helens, or any number of amazing places in western Washington and Oregon. Don't forget to add firewood! Our kids would love to get a big wagon full ready for you for only $5. You can also buy it anytime during your visit.

Awesome, spacious area. The host, Sue, was there to greet us and was very nice and welcoming. Beautiful area away from town, a little close to the road so you could hear road noise but it was not bad at all and only during the day. We were able to fit 33ft travel trailer with my 21ft truck and my GF’s car with plenty of space to spare! Nice little fire pit and outhouse is provided. Very shaded and near a running creek. I would 100% stay again!

The directions led us directly to this hipcamp. Once we entered the private drive, a sign indicating the hipcamp area clearly pointed to the place our family was able to park one 21 foot trailer and a tent trailer. the area was larger enough for a couple larger trailers with slide outs. The spot was slightly uneven, so make sure you have the ability to level. There are several spots that would be flat enough for several smaller tents or a couple of larger tents. Our hosts met us upon our arrival and they were very friendly. They made us feel comfortable and welcome, in spite of the craziness of our large group.

There were several amenities that made this spot perfect for our family group of six adults and 7 kids (ages one to nine). There was a spacious area around a fire pit that allowed everyone to enjoy the campfire together. We bought firewood from the host and they provided a lot of firewood many times during our stay! There was a table and broom with dustpan that made meals easier. A hose with water was near enough to the campfire to make water access easy and was nice for making sure the campfires were out.

The toilet was fairly basic, but was clean. The hipcamp host did a fantastic job keeping up with this during our stay. We were impressed that they made sure it was taken care of the whole time we stayed.

Because we stayed during a time where there was a lot of rain, the host graciously opened up an out-building for our group to stay dry. There were cozy couches, a table and plenty of space. The host mentioned they are working to make this a usable space that might eventually be another spot for hipcamp guests to stay. The upstairs had a nice hardwood floor that would be a nice space to sleep in the future.

There was a lot of room for kids to play, run, explore and enjoy. Our kids had so much fun. We look forward to future stays here again!

This is such a great spot just outside the city. Susan welcomed me as I arrived and pointed out the site. I highly recommend this spot for small groups or even a solo trip.

This exceeded all of my expectations! Susan greeted us and gave us the lay of the land. She followed up with a message about a few nearby easy hikes.

From there, it was a private, lovely retreat from the city. There's some road noise, but it's pretty easy to tune out. There's a pond a few hundred feet from where we set up our tents and a little path down to Salmon Creek a little ways back toward the road.

In the morning before my family woke up, I took a walk through the cemetery that borders the property, and chatted with a neighbor (from a safe distance) for about half an hour!

We absolutely plan to return, and with larger groups as soon as it's safe to do so!

From the compost toilet area - there's space to put tents down closer to the treeline, and there's a space we used for the fire pit and cooking to the left. (The view of the house is taken from the fire pit area) I saw several deer early in the morning! This is the view from the "upper" site - you can see the home if you're turned that direction, but it's far enough that you can't hear them and I assume they can't hear me (except for my cackle. And when my kid scared the heck out of me and I screamed.) It's practically a rainforest by the pond

We had a wonderful time! It was just what we needed. The site was all ready for us and once we got all set up we took a small walk along a whimsical trail which was perfect for the kids and we discovered Cherry's and berries on our way to go fishing which is also close to the site. We then decided to take a very interesting walk thru the cemetery. This getaway was everything and more that me and my family needed right now. We even made a new friend with an adorable on the site camp dog lol kids loved playing with her and it was just so nice and gave me and my husband a lil break lol we were able to keep our eye on them the whole time but also let them be free and burn some energy! I highly recommend this place and we will visit again.

Our stay at Sue's property was exactly what we needed. Super friendly host and family, and the dog is just adorable. Lots of trees make for ideal hammock hanging. There is some road noise, but very easy to tune out with a campfire. I would recommend bringing waterproof shoes and long socks, as the ground is pretty soft and bugs love this place. The cemetary is awesome! We went on a walk through the night.
