We had a great time at Sagi's property. As advertised it is undeveloped but we found a great spot to camp and enjoy the undisturbed nature around us. Our camp was set near a creek with black berrie bushes near by that my kids picked and we added to our pancakes in the morning. The location was easy to find, quit, and beautiful. And I cant remember the last time I saw so mamy stars.

Our camp set up. All packed and ready to go homeHeaded away from the camp site

While there aren’t designated camp sites, we still had fun hiking around and exploring a section of Sagi’s property! The view of the stars is breathtaking.

Glad you enjoyed it the idea behind it is that you can make your own in your preferred location. We may make a couple of designated sites. As you suggested

Sage and his family were so nice to meet out at their property. The forest is so impressive and it was clear that they all adored the space they had. The path back to the campsite I chose was well developed, though there are a bunch of other places I could have camped as well. There were seemingly endless blackberries, which were icing on the cake. The creeks were nice to hang around at. The water was so, so clear! Enjoyed the time I spent here. Would be excited to head back one day!

forestforestA well defined path back through the property, where I took my stuff back and set up campThe forest on the property was just amazing

Sagi was very friendly and there to greet and get us settled upon arrival. The site was really beautiful. There's a small stream near one of the sites that is just paradise at sunset. There was ample space to set up camp and Sagi brought down a small metal fire ring and some extra fire wood for our marshmallow roasting pleasure. The property is 30 minutes from Lake Quinault in the Olympic National Forest so that was the main draw.

It is rustic camping so bring a shovel to dig a latrine and plenty of water. Due to water proximity, there are some bugs so bring some spray or other detergent if that is of concern to you. The property has some domestic pigs that roam. They're super cute, but don't leave anything out when you're away from camp.

If privacy and simplicity are important to you, more than having the “amenities” of a campground, this is the place. The drive there is lovely, Sigi is warm, welcoming, and a great host, and the property (huge!) has so much to enjoy. One of my favorite parts was visiting with Sigi and his friendly pigs and piglets. Be prepared to make your own, responsible potty, and enjoy!!
