I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend BelFish Farm to both individuals and families. Amy and Scott are warm and welcoming, and really go out of their way to make everything positive and enjoyable. They put up a pavilion cover that blocked the rain, were very generous with firewood, and made sure I had warm water when I wanted a shower. The permaculture (permanent agriculture or living sustainably off the land) farm was fascinating, with chickens, ducks and rabbits (babies too!), and the tour of the farm and learning about permaculture was very interesting. Everything was clean, the campsite was great, and the hosts were wonderful people.

Forested camping spot with a fire ring a mile from Darrington. Near the host's house and farm, with lots of chickens and bunnies to admire. Spent a very quick night but hosts were accommodating and explained the compost toilet and their permaculture farm. You can hear the highway from the camping spot but not a noise issue for us.
What a fantastic spot! If you're expecting a manicured KOA spot, best move on - this is a small, but productive family farm, so you're likely to be visited by the chickens and the cat, Jackson, as you sit around your fire. Scott and Amy are fantastic hosts - willing to chat and share to the degree you want, and show their gardens and soon-to-be-chicken run (might bring a hammer if you want to kill time helping Scott out). This was an unexpected surprise - we'll come again!
We had such a wonderful stay! BelFish Farms is a really special place, and Scott & Amy are delightful hosts. Can’t wait to get back there soon!!

We had a fantastic time staying at Belfish Farms! Amy and Scott were excellent hosts and were extremely helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable. I would definitely recommend their farm to anyone looking to stay in the area!
Our stay at the farm was wonderful! We enjoyed the privacy, the friendliness of the hosts and all the great animals around. Highly recommend for any campers looking for a great spot!
Our stay with Amy, Scott & Edith far surpassed our expectations! We felt very welcome from the very beginning, and were given a private, secluded area to setup camp. We camped in a private clearing, but were close enough to the restroom, farm & car so we didn't feel fully stranded. The property is nuzzled up right at the base of Horse Head Mountain, and the view of the snowcapped mountain is spectacular, especially at sunset!! We were able to take showers, set up fire in the designated pit, and play with their sweet dogs during our stay. There are plenty of trees for hammocks too! In the morning, Scott and Edith gave us a tour of the farm, introduced us to their bunnies & chicks, and provided recommendations for hikes in the surrounding forest. We checked out Darrington and some spectacular waterfalls right after leaving the farm, per Scott's recommendations. Be mindful that the campsite is a short walk away from where you park your car, but a wagon is provided to tow your items. We absolutely loved our stay and getting to know the family behind Belfish Farm!!
Amy and Scott are just the nicest people and it was really fun learning about the property. The campsite itself isn’t super private as you can clearly see see two homes from the site, but it was still nice place to stay and would be a great jumping off point to the many hikes in the area.
