Beautiful location! We loved having a view of Mt. Adams during the day and lots of stars at night. The site is down a private trail and it made for a wonderful escape from the city. Highly recommended!
This is a beautiful and tranquil spot. It feels very private despite being a short walk from the car, and the view is beautiful from any time of day. The platform was large enough to accommodate much more than a backpacking tent as well, and there were flat spaces around the clearing plus a table for setting up camp. Highly recommended!
This was such a beautiful stay. From the dreamy sunset, to the short path through the trees to the tent platform. The area is perfect as it shields you from the wind without sacrificing the majestic views. The platform is a great size and were able to set up our camping stove on it as well.
Will most definitely return to this site! Thank you Carolyn for a unique experience!
Calming, restorative space
This spot was beautiful! The tent platform had amazing views of the mountains and the Gorge. It was such a quiet, special spot to relax. Carolyn was communicative before the stay and was a welcoming, and lovely host when I arrived. It was a perfect place to escape the city and restore in a private, calming setting.
Mountains and turkeys-oh my!
My husband and I had a great time at the tent platform! Stayed for 2 nights over the 4th of July and it was very quiet, private and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The view of Mt Adams is gorgeous and the site has plenty of space. We saw wild turkeys and baby turkeys from our tent.
Only complaint would be that there was an unusual amount of earwigs at the site and they got into our gear and which we had to go through when we got home. I’d still recommend the site though as camping requires some discomfort!
