Cedar River Camp is a great spot to get away from the city life and have a moment to relax. Great getaway spot
We enjoyed our time at the site. Anthony was an informative host and the site met all expectations. Nearby river access wasn’t exceptional but we made it work. Would definitely recommend!
Cedar River Camp was in a nice secluded area of maple valley. When I arrived it was very clean and had enough space for all three of our tents. We enjoyed being able to hang around the fire with our two dogs.
I would definitely recommend this campsite! It's close to Seattle, but very secluded and private. The directions were easy to follow, and the site was easy to find. There is a fire pit and a small sheltered area to set up a tent in case it rains. I even saw a few deer near the campsite!
This was a beautiful spot in the woods with a ginormous fire pit. We would stay again, however I’d adjust my expectations a bit. The setting was lovely, however we listened to a group of young boys yelling continuously in the woods until midnight, and again commencing at 9am. I’m not sure whether this is common, but I didn’t see it in any of the other reviews. The kids came into our campsite several times and seemed to be playing games in the woods right outside of our site.
Otherwise this is a nice spot, felt safe and was perfect for tent camping. The listing was accurate and the host was extremely helpful and communicative.
Pro tip: bring your own firewood.
This was a very nice camp, so peaceful and just what we needed. So close to Cedar River and walking trail. If going for the weekend girls will have a bucket to go to the bathroom but there is a McDonalds 10 minutes away or bring your camper / small trailer. It was nice that there was wood there for us to purchase but it was wet and we had to get it really hot to burn. Very nice getaway. FYI we live in Maple Valley, we needed some quite from 4 corner.
