Whispering Oaks Hill
A Plethora of Birdsong
We had two tents with plenty more space for up to five. The fire pit is made of beautiful quartz rock and is one of the most gorgeous fire locations I've ever seen. There are so many different types of birds in the morning - I don't think I've ever heard that level of diversity. The stead is a purple martin sanctuary, to boot. Clint and his wife were extraordinarily welcoming and were genuinely generous folks, and I can definitely recommend this hipcamp again!

Whispering Oaks Hill
A peaceful getaway from the city <3
The views are incredible! We set up camp after a thunderstorm rolled through and thought that this trip was ruined. We were wrong. Clint had us placed in a great spot that was well prepared with a milky quartz fire pit. Wood was provided as well as jugs of water for the fire. The option of a power source(Ext. cord) was given and the picnic table was very useful. The host will go above and beyond for you so you feel immersed in nature. Told us about the wildlife and the best times to see or hear them. Never heard a coyote pack pep up before and what an erie treat it was. Would have been scared if Clint hadn't warned us. The night sky is phenominal and the sunset was amazing. We hope to come back next year!

Great Campsite and Outstanding Host
Excellent location (close to everything in this area of Virginia) and outstanding host!
Campsite was perfect and worked well for multiple tents and vehicles. Rain did not stop us from enjoying the great views and peaceful surroundings. Host was welcoming and helpful and went the extra mile for us.
Definitely looking forward to returning to Whispering Oaks Hill.

Amazing Stay with the Best Host
This was our first Hipcamp and the best camping experience to date. This was a halfway point in a 200 mile bikepacking loop and staying with Clint was the highlight! 10/10 will be back!!

Whispering Oaks Hill
Amy and I enjoyed a fantastic evening by the firepit! We explored Farmville Saturday and recommend trying the Blue Way Paddle trail loop at Wilck Lake and Buffalo Creek. What a great property Clint! We look forward to many returns.
