Sweetwater Farms is 2 farms combined, the first 150 acres was a old Plantation farmhouse, which is referred to as the Traynham house by locals, because that was one of the owner's name long ago. The house was built in 1839, with lots of the original qualities left, and is decorated with many Antiques, it is not unusual to hear a baby crying in the house and odd sounds that are unexplainable, but we think they are friendly spirits. Then more acres were added, another 150 + acres, which was called Sweetwater Farm, because the previous owner was a moonshiner. Sam, the current owner, incorporated the 2 farms and kept the name "Sweetwater Farms". The large Creek, Stokes Creek runs through both farms, and the farm has numerous natural Springs, which the area is well known for the many Springs, the area is called Cluster Springs. The farm is a working Cattle farm, with a lot of pet Cows, Angus and Long Horns, Horses are Percherons, Walking and Quarter Horses, Donkeys, Peacocks, Geese, Ducks, Turkeys, Chickens and Guineas.
