Traynham house is 1800's Plantation house with some friendly spirits, on 300+ acres of working Cattle farm, woods, Creeks, farm roads for walking through the farm, where cows and horses are free to roam the majority of the farm. The farm is Sweetwater Farm, named that by the previous owner of whom was a bootlegger and made moonshine down on the Creeks and transported it across state. Pond for fishing, paddle boat, lots of farm animals to watch and wildlife, not unusual to see Coyotes, Fox, Wild Turkeys, Deer and occasionally a Bear. Nice, friendly, country people on farm or choose to be private and not join in with the residents, but not uncommon to have a barn fire, and some country cooking. A guest Ranch is within 2 miles up the road and they offer horse back riding at their availability and rates. A little Country diner is also within hollering distance.
