Purchase clean, fresh eggs from our free-range chickens for your camp breakfast; add in a variety of our home made rolls and muffins for a tasty country treat.  For a high-end dinner buy one of our farm raised rabbits to roast over your campfire supplied with FREE firewood.  Enjoy your meals while watching our horses graze in the adjoining pasture

After a great meal of farm raised products, step off the property into the George Washington National Forest to hike along the many trails or head over to Bryce Four Season Resort (only 4 miles away) for a full day of fun golfing, grass skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, zip lines, snow skiing, snow boarding, tubing and many other activities. In addition, Lake Laura is also just 3 miles away for fishing, boating, hiking, beach and swimming. Shenandoah Valley Music Festival is just 4 miles away and offers a variety of outdoor concerts during the summer weekends.  We'll let you know who's playing on our Facebook page.  After a full day of having fun, doze off to the sounds of the woodlands where you might hear an owl or a coyote or two.

Rendezvous Farm is also within an hour of several caverns, two civil war battlefields, the Shenandoah Civil War Museum, New Market Battlefield Military Museum and the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River. The Appalachian Trail is a half hour drive from the farm. This area has much more to offer. We have brochures for many other nearby attractions.  Feel free to inquire about what interests you.

PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY.  Your stay at Rendezvous Farm, a 16-acre working hobby farm bordering George Washington National Forest on 2 sides, offers you access to over 1 million acres of public land to play in. The fee for this site is $30 per night for up to 4 people.  Up to 2 additional people can stay on the site for an additional $10 per person, per night.  For more than 6 people we recommend you reserve an additional camp site.  This  PRIMITIVE PLUS site borders our horse pasture and is closest to the pond.  It is a TENT ONLY site.  Camping is not allowed around the pond so others may enjoy it without encroaching on your camp area. We provide you a large area to choose a site to set up your tents but please leave a pathway for other campers to access the pond.  Parking is a few feet from the camp area. We provide FREE firewood but require that all fires are completely extinguished before retiring for the evening or leaving our property.  Six gallons of drinking water as well as water for drowning campfires is provided. Your site has new picnic table too.  Hiking trails begin just a few yards from the campsites! An excellent app to help you find the many public trails is ALLTRAILS.  We can direct you to short private trails near the campsite. Our small run-off pond is part of our wildlife habitat so please no swimming. We have a nice bluegill population for catch and release only fishing for the kids.  All sites are close to our neighbor so we request quiet time from dark to dawn.  FOR YOUR SAFETY, THAT OF YOUR PETS AND OUR ANIMALS, PLEASE READ THE RULES AND SAFETY SECTION.  This is provided once you make a reservation.

The site was perfect for our tent and our friends' tent. We stayed at site 1 or 2 (can't remember which), and were able to park very close to the site, so we didn't have to walk our stuff in. Picnic table close to the fire ring with plenty of provided firewood. Directions were perfect, though our GPS took us in from a different direction, so we had to translate a little. The toilet was a portable poop-bucket in a small tent, but they did their best to make it private, and cleaned it out after our first night.
The hosts were extremely kind and generous with their property and the animals were fun for our kids to visit. Overall, would stay again.

We booked this campsite when all of the sites at nearby Wolf Gap Recreation Site (National Forest) were already full - a great decision! The hosts are lovely and helpful, the farm is very peaceful (beautiful horses), and our campground near the pond had plenty of space for 2 tents (there are several campsites varying in size, a few families were also there). We brought our dogs (allowed on leash), they had firewood available, we had a great time. Know that you will probably be woken up by roosters, this is a farm! We would definitely come back.

We had a great time at Rendezvous Farm. Allen and Peggy were welcoming and worked to make sure we had everything we needed. They allowed us to pick our campsite since there were no other campers.

It is a very primative campsite - poop tent for a toilet and a bit of a walk to get running water. But that's made up for by a beautiful setting, quiet and secluded, lots of room for kids to run around. We hope to return again!

Peggy and Allen were so nice and welcoming! The site was private minus the horse neighbors. It was so great that we could bring our dog. The best part was the fresh eggs!

Allen was very attentive to our needs. The firewood and fresh eggs were super nice! You won't find many places as far off the beaten path! Kids loved fishing in the pond & searching for their own worms as well! Highly recommend!

Our tent site at Rendezvous farm was lovely! Peggy and Allen were very sweet, and came by the site to make sure we had everything we needed. They left us firewood and drinking water, which was a nice touch. The sites are a bit closer together than the aerial photo looks, but they’re separated by trees and we felt we had plenty of privacy, and it was certainly more spread out than a normal campground. We really enjoyed it!

We came here without any real idea on what to expect, but ended up having a really great time. It is a little tricky to find the road to get into the farm, but follow the directions on the profile and you’ll know when you get there. Our site was right in front of the pond which is considered a common area, but it wasn’t a problem. Our camping neighbors were polite and did not bother us even though we were nearby. We fell asleep to the sounds of the woods, which were honestly pretty loud but eventually became white noise for a good night's rest with a bright starry sky. We highly recommend this spot, and even our “nature reluctant” friends had fun!

Site was on wooded property surrounded by farms and National Forest Peggy, who greeted us and answered all questions then left us alone :) took the time to walk us to where the trail stArted on their property. From there we were able to make an 11 mile hike hike up to radio tower, south on great north mountain trail, and the back down via Orkney Springs Trail. The site came with a big stack of dry firewood. Chickens, cows, pig and horses nearby. You are far from the road hosts house. Site 2 worked well for out 19ft trailer. Very level.
