10 acres hosted by Possible P.

Our Farmstead is deeply forested up at 2,620' with the Blue Ridge Mountains region of SW Virginia. The sloped 10.6 acres of topography has a beautiful year-round stream - which junctions into the larger Snake Creek - farm animals include: sheep, pigs & piglets, chickens, quail, rabbit, duck, geese, guinea fowl, and growing more at every opportunity.
Our fresh crop of vegetables, medicinal, and culinary herbs are in the ground every spring and taste wonderful at every harvest.
We’ve focused on stewardship of the land, farmsteading towards a lower impact and permaculture designed lifestyle, and creating beautiful memories here in the SW Virginia Appalachians with our family and growing friendships.
We’d love to have you stop by, enjoy nature for solace or work, and if you’d like, get your hands in on the projects!'Possible Property' is exactly what it sounds like. Here, our family of six, has the beginnings of a freshly budding, 10+ acres homestead, surrounded by mature forest of maple, oak, beech, birch, pine, and where anything is possible.
We officially moved in July 2022 and already have established our mixed breed, in-ground rabbit colony who live with our colorful array of quail bevy and turkey. Our wild foraging flock of chickens, guinea, ducks, and geese are always around. Our paddocked heritage drove of Kune Kune Pigs 😍 are a sight to see. The sheep are currently in our corral for the winter and will greet you on your way down the mountain. Feel free to come on down our way and take a look. 🤩 A heads up is always recommended.
We allow wild foraging on the untouched land. Apple trees, allegheny blackberries, black and yellow raspberries, ground strawberries, and many other medicinal and wild edible plants can be found for your enjoyment and - of course - within season.
Here on 'Possible Property' we stress only a few key characteristics to life: We look for the GOODS. Good food, friends, and fun! So come say, “Hi!” Also, feel free to get involved with the homestead while you’re here! Helping hands are always appreciated and well thanked!
