Vincent greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had everything we needed, and included a map of the property. The hosts were very communicative and made us feel right at home. The property was absolutely beautiful (especially the garden!), the covered cooking area was a great hangout spot, the firewood that was provided made sure we had a comforting fire, and we really enjoyed visiting with Vincent’s dogs! The value to stay here was unbeatable, can’t wait to return 10/10
Susan and Vincent were incredibly hospitable - made sure to greet us when we arrived, offered a tour of other parts of the property, quickly responded to texts, and had firewood and potable water for us when we arrived. Vincent even swung by to take our trash and recycling on our last morning!
The huge farm property is set on a mountain with private hiking trails and gorgeous views. Friendly farm dogs roam the property and help keep the bears away. We were camping at the same time as another party down the hill but had tons of privacy. Each campsite had some sort of pavilion shelter for camping or cooking and a fire pit. The composting toilets and (non potable) running water were super convenient.
The entire weekend gave us nostalgia our pre-pandemic world travels... We will definitely be coming back!
Had a wonderful time at peidmont. Vincent met us and showed us the lay of the land. He even returned to give us more firewood later in the evening. The setting certainly made us feel comfortable with the amenities, but still I'm the middle of nature. All in all, it was a great time. Will definitely return.
Also, the cell service was more than adequate. (Att)

Our family of 5 (2 kids, 3 adults) spent 2 nights at the property. It was absolutely beautiful!!! There is an outdoor kitchen which we didn't use but had full access to, a playground area, an outdoor shower up the hill which was amazing and a fishing pond with bass. We were able to fit our 9 person 18x10 ft tent underneath the large pavillion which kept the rain from drowning us and all of our stuff on the second night. Super dark and very overgrown in the forest area so we were really on alert for Bears and such until 1 of the 3 anatolian mountain pups came to visit us in the night. She came right up to the tent, wagged her tail and then patroled our camp to make sure we were safe. It was awesome 😍. Didn't get to do much hiking cuz we were too tired from walking up and down the hill from our van. The incline and the clay wouldnt allow us to drive down. I recommend a truck or 4x4 to be able to drive down and back up. That being said Vincent brought his kubota and helped us bring all of our heavy stuff down to camp the first day. He offered and allowed us to pick some tomatoes from the garden which were delicious. I would love to go back with just my husband so we could walk all the trails and explore more. There is so much more I could say but mostly just thank you Vincent and Susan for everything! ❤👏👍

This place is ABSOLUTELY DREAMY! Me and my partner found it safe, and lovely and welcoming and the owners Vincent and Susan were the sweetest!
We recommend the hiking and any of the places on the property. You won’t regret coming and getting to know this lovely land that they have access to. We plan on renting out the three house for our anniversary!

Hospitality! Above all the hospitality we were shown was great. We arrived after dark and Vincent and the 3 very friendly dogs met us at the parking area to show us the short walk to our shelter. Vincent even offered to help carry stuff.
It was a charming rustic shelter which was very clean considering that it had no walls. The one side has a real low slanted roof for privacy and rain protection while the other three sides were surrounded by tall vegetation.
Everything was just a short walk from each other: parking, shelter, composting toilets, and kitchen shelter which had a sink with running cold non-potable water.
Vincent gave us some vegetables from the garden. On checkout day we were running a little late, but since no one was coming in after us, Vincent told us to take our time. He also let us check out the treehouse and use it's camp stove to cook our meal since the guests had already left.
Awesome spot, host met us where we parked and helped us settle in. We camped under the pavillion which was nice and one of their Anatolian Shepherd dogs would check up on us occasionally, which was comforting!
Vincent and Susan were amazing hosts! Their property is beautiful and secluded. They allowed us to take a few vegetables from their garden for our meals and the views of the sunset from the overlook were out of this world.
Everything was beyond our expectations. We took our two young daughters on their first camping trip and it was a great experience. Vincent met us shortly after arrival and provide us with all the information we would need. We hiked up to rhe main house and met the goats, chicken, and peacocks. The overlook trail has a great view of the valley below and can be done with kids. We had a great time and hope to go back soon
