“No Prob-Llama” should be the slogan here.

Greg and Paule were incredibly sweet and thoughtful. They welcomed us as if they had known us for years and let us have as much privacy as we wanted, but they were still available to answer any questions, address any needs, and give us recommendations.

The campsite was secluded enough to give us privacy, and it was evident that it was set up in a thoughtful way. All the amenities and necessities in the ad were extremely accessible. The tent spot was so flat and completely clear of rocks, branches, and weeds.

The best part was that we were right next to their private pond, which was a gorgeous view, especially at sunrise. In the mornings, we caught fish left and right, with the option to take their paddle boat out on the water and catch and cook our large catches for free. Give Greg and Paule a couple of large bass for their dinner for extra brownie points.

Their beautiful, friendly llamas, Annie and Dili-Dali, roamed fairly close to our campsite a few times, to check us out, but they never approached us until we slowly approached them. Greg and Paule offered to let us feed the llamas with their llama food as well.

During the day, we were able to go into town for some great food (check out the Fishin’ Pig for some fantastic BBQ) and visit nearby at Holiday Lake State Park, where we swam and also had the options to hike, fish, and rent kayaks and canoes.

I grew up camping all over the country, and I can honestly say that this is my new happy place. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so, so much, Greg and Paule!!
