Great get away in the valley.
We had a great time. It was an amazing setting with privacy, millions of stars, and an amazing stream just feet from our tent. Our host was terrific. Jacob was very informative, helpful, and available. I would definitely stay here again.
What a wonderful place to hang out and camp! Sitting by the creek, walking through the woods, and hanging out by the fire were all highlights of the weekend. I highly recommend coming here! Thank you!!
Nice creek view and horses.
We had a nice weekend here and spent the day exploring the surrounding forest and Shenandoah National Park. The site was great, with a pretty creek and horses in the neighboring pastures. The gnats were a bit bad at first but once we started a fire they left and it was fine. Jacob is really nice and its a beautiful place.
Perfect weekend spot!
We were right at home here! The brook was such a soothing sound while we slept, and our spot had a nice mix of sun and shade, a lovely picnic table and a fire pit, which we made great use of! Jacob was so welcoming and told us about his favorite places nearby. He also offered a sweet solution if we got drenched (but thankfully our tents held up!). The horses were beautiful and added to the charm of his property. We'd definitely go back!
What a perfect spot! The site was very nice and private, it had good shade from the sun and the creek was fun to splash around in. Our puppy even got to see horses for the first time, which was adorable. This is definitely a spot I'm looking forward to coming back to.
