A beautiful and private campsite. Set on part of an old mill. The sound of the water and the big bright bowl of stars were magic. There's a little bit of a walk from the parking place to the site since a flood washed the the road out in 2018. Be prepared to carry in (and out) all of your supplies. The site is just north of Whittle's Mill which is on the Meherrin River. We drove down to it the next morning, put the kayaks in at the launch, and enjoyed the most peaceful paddling I've ever experienced.

Was unclear on the directions to site so i contacted host and he gave me Physical address which i had no problem finding.the camp site was great it was private and really quite with a nice view of scenery around the camp site. There is a short walk from where you park to where the site is the path is a little over grown it would be better if the path was maintained over all id give it 4.5 out of five stars

This site is amazing. It’s a little hike to get down to the waterfall in some pretty thick weeds so bring a cart to get your stuff down there! The waterfall was peaceful and beautiful! We only stayed a night but would have loved to have an additional night. The host was sweet and saw we were lost and even helped show us the way and tell us a little history of the place!
