Natural Roots Farm
This was thee most amazing find! It was super cozy and private and such accommodating and friendly hosts. It was super convenient to park at our spot and the outdoor bathroom wasn’t bad either, will definitely book again in the future!

Not private, but great stargazing!
Let me start with the positive: the setting was beautiful and the open skies at night made for great stargazing. A few small issues: we did not get the camp site site we booked, the owner said this was because we were in a tear drop trailer and they put everyone on the camp site in the middle of the meadow because it is the flattest. I expected three sites because of the map in the listing, but there were six active while we were there, one of which was on the other side of the small tree grove and made privacy very difficult, especially because there is no potty tent for the center of the meadow and because this is the high point. We expected there would be some farm noise and dogs, but the quacking waterfowl and hound dog yowl were more than anticipated. This might be an issue if you’re not in a camper. The firewood was a bit overpriced for the quality and amount, but overall we enjoyed our time. Can’t beat 15 mins to the park!

We camped in a travel trailer. Rebecca and William had us in a lovely spot that was fairly level. The campsites are spread out so everyone has privacy. We enjoyed a visit to their farm and are still enjoying fresh eggs!

Peaceful
We really enjoyed our stay at Natural roots farm. The meadow has 5 Campsites and you can see the other campers across the field but the spacing is such that you can't hear them and there's plenty of privacy. It's the kind of Camping we did when,I was little: just tents and small trailers. Not the RV cities that are the norm now. It was the most peaceful camping I've had in a long time. Thank you Rebecca for hosting us. Also the eggs were excellent. I would happily camp there, again

Overpriced Sleeping In a Field
Lots of thoughts! I wish someone had posted a more helpful review for me - so going to give the details of my experience. I would not come here to tent camp if you want to sleep. 1. Getting there/Actual Site: We followed owners from their house to a field. All the camping happens in a large field that is split up into 5 sites. They had just mowed so there were lots of bugs but actual site was ok. You can see all the other sites from wherever you are and “bathrooms” are pop up tents that are shared. Our site was at the back of the field so we had lots of bees at our site from the beehives nearby, we backed up to the outdoor dog Kennel/duck/rooster etc enclosure. We tent camped so barely slept with the noise from the animals at all hours. It’s a very tight fit for anyone in a camper to get to these sites. 2. Hosts/Amenities: Hosts are nice, they went out of their way to show my kids all the animals. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and water jug with well water. We had ordered fire wood and $10/order was a rip off. We had to order another one to get through two nights of fires. So $30 for two nights of fire wood - that’s ridiculous. Also, for $45/night felt overpriced for sleeping in a field, then I had to pay $30/night for my parents to come stay in the same campsite as us. There are no hiking trails, you don’t stay on the actual farm so you don’t see any animals (just hear them). It didn’t feel like an “experience” just sleeping in a field.
