Leslie was so nice, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here as a through hiker who wants safe place to pitch a tent, get some fresh water and use a bathroom. We brought a 24’ RV and would not recommend it for RV use. The gravel driveway is VERY steep, the RV setup is right behind their home in packed dirt so it gets muddy because that’s where they have the hose hookup and electric outlet. The electricity hookup is advertised as a 30 amp and it is only 15 amps. It melted our 30 amp adapter after trying it for an hour and blew a breaker in the house. Thankfully we had a surge protector.

View of the host house from the fire pitOur 30 amp plug was plugged in to the outlet on the right. It melted our adapter and blew a fuse. Although listed as a 30 amp hookup it’s actually a 15RV space behind houseView from the house looking down at fire pit
